As an "American" that's part Italian, part caveman. Even some luxury bracelets pull on the abundant amount of long arm hair I have...Ive given up on letting that deter me ages ago.😁
Hahaha! Good on you my friend!!! Thanks for watching!
All part of the charm lol
But it's all made up by JAPAN
A small price to pay for salvation 😂
Why the “american” lol are you from Italy and just staying here?
Just started my collection few days ago. Already got the DBC 611, the a100 and now the iconic f91-w. I'm completely addicted to these bad boys!
Congrats on catching the Casio bug!!!! Great collection so far!!!!
That's all about nostalgia..you should try a158 ..😂
Great show Russ! It's clear that UA-cam has become a labour of love for you. Us fans appreciate the work you put in to entertainment us, education us, and get our wallets (and watches) out! That Film watch is something special isn't it, so different. But my eyes are on the football timer, it's very handsome!
Haha! Well thank you Jason for your continued support and kind words! I do think that the football timer is very special!
I've come to enjoy the "What the wife said" segment of the show as much as I love the "Casio Corner" part.
The "Breitling Casio" is absolutly stunning, one I'd love to see Casio return to production, perhaps with a regular digital display instead of a negative one.
As always, fantastic work.... Well done indeed
Fantastic show- as always! I just purchased an SGW100. Reminds me a bit of the fishing watch, but this one has an olive drab nylon strap, compass function, thermometer, large display and 200 meter water resistance- along with the regular functions- for 40 dollars! I love it more than any g shock I own, along with my “TGV 290” 😎
Yes that looks like a nice watch my friend! I might have to get it! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Thats what I am talking about this compass watches are so cool !! I will make a suggestion, since there are a few models that have a compass, I would be nice if MWC, Jody from (just one more watch) Dave from (Just the watch) make a challenge , each one would pick up a Casio with digital compass considering a budget and make a video about it or a live chat
When I was a kid I had a Casio FT-100 "Fish En Time". Absolutely loved it !
You keep my love for Casio alive. Some amazing watches. Also, I’m Wrist XXL thanks for showing my big yellow peril.
Thanks for watching my friend! Your very welcome!
The amount of work u put into ur videos is amazing! Since a kid I've loved casios and you are what I envisioned in my head everytime I owned a new watch, ur narration of it is what goes on in my head. Along with the special effects 😅especially the calculator casio
Been following your channel for some time now. I appreciate your unique style of presenting watches. Already got the AQ-230, couple F-91s, a DW-5600 and an AE-1200 in my collection. You just can't stop buying these Casio digitals. And that display case looks stellar. Congrats on the find. On a side note, you gotta let us know where this store is.
Tell me about it. Bought 3 this week. Help!
That fishing watch. What a crack up. I know I'm always at a loss for knowing when the ideal time is to go fishing. I do understand wanting to find Casios with out of the ordinary functions on them though.
What aFUN filled SHOW. Appreciate the behind the scene work..
Cheers Ray! It’s all worth it after seeing all the comments!
I’ve never seen a watch youtuber talk about the casio db 380g, such a cool vintage retro design.
Also the lack of exposure of the watch makes it that much more underrated.
CRIKEY RUSSELL!!! Not sure how I missed this vid of yours but I can’t get over your vintage hoard find!! I clearly remember many of those models and would have bought her whole stock if I found that shop before you got your grubby mitts on it! Amazing!! 😂
Hahahaha! Well her shop is bone dry of the good stuff now, just over priced new stock.
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Excellent work sir! Couldn’t have gone to a better bloke! (Except me, obviously).
Hope you and yours are keeping well😉👍
I bought a CASIO A100… on black.. very cool watch.. and very happy with it..😍😍😍
Congrats Chandra! It does have a very 80’s charm to it!
I love this crazy british man, you've got a new subscriber from Mexico here!
Fernando!!! Thank you so much for finding the channel!!!
I still have the Casio F-100 (the original Ripley watch now reproduced as the A100) that I bought duty free at Singapore Airport in 1979. It cost AUD$27. It still runs and looks great on a plain black Valdora leather strap with black buckle.
Wanna make that 291 even more attractive? Stick the Royale module in it.
Yeah the 217 perfect for me. My F91 fits on my wrist on the absolute longest hole and only on the longest hole 😂😂 massive wrists. The 217 with the longer strap is perfect absolutely in love with it
15:49 Arnie gets me every time. Your channel is pure mental brilliance
Can never have enough ARNIE! Thanks for watching Valera!
Thank you so much for getting me into Casios. I just ordered my first, the CA53W. After watching this, I went immediately to order the W86, but I think the price has gone up dramatically since you made this video! I’ll keep my eye out for an affordable one. Great content, MWC!
I love my Casio collection, I have some really cool ones , like the flip top calculator watch that is an analogue watch on the outside until you open it and it has a calculator inside , but these days I’m collecting Chinese OULM watches because they fit my style a bit more , I dress like a dreadlocked doctor who so a watch with multiple faces and a steampunk look suits me more than a digital watch
I bought W217HM-7BV & B650WD-1A. They're basically identical, so I swapped the parts by replacing the B650WD-1A case with the W217HM-7BV case. I love the monochrome case look paired with stainless steel band & more legible positive digital display.
That Casio Poptone LDF-50 looks like all software looked like in mid-2000's. It looks like a frikkin Winamp skin I LOVE IT.
Hahahaha! Definitely has a dated look to it! But blue digital numbers?? Definitely cool!
Great Video as Always! Two watches that I would highly recommend you check out are: 1) w-755 packed full of features, stopwatch with hours (finally), 10 year battery, memory of 315 characters, 100 meters of water resistance, only problem is that it could be discontinued I'm not entirely sure 2)Casio ws-2000h, sporty digital watch with 100 meters of water resistance, 200 lap memories apparently, plus a step tracker (if you do check this one out I would love to see some sort of test for the step tracker accuracy)
Well I really do love that first one! I like the colours on the screen 👍🏼 I’m not massively liking the case shape of the second, but very clear digital screen!
That Casio football/soccer watch is an awesome find. Man wouldn’t mind one like that. Well take care of that beauty you don’t see them everyday.
I was so shocked when I saw it Christopher as I’d seen it on eBay used (very used) for a lot of money!
Finally a youtuber who lives up to their name!
Thanks for finding the channel my friend!!
That pepsi f91w is popping! Also the AQ " i pretend it stands for Anolog Quartz" collection is the best banger collection of all time....The casio sport "AQS81O/800, S for solar" is best work beater! Also just bought myself and my dad a WS-1200H....thanks a lot.
I'm not that interested in watches but you have a very good and fun energy. So its fun to watch. Thanks :-D
Joshua!! You are very kind my friend! What made you watch it!!!??
Its epic rediscoverying some old classic retro Casios, I've had many of these in my time (pun intended) loving the channel. I'm currently playing catchup on your channel, so expect the odd comment on older videos.
Love that you are watching these Adam!!
Very well produced video !
I will post some of my Casio’s up on the group pal. All vintage of course although I do have the film watch but a completely different version.
Not really Mike! But it was a long one with a lot of files to put together! Won’t be doing another one of those for a while!!!!
Love you casio watch collection vert awesome watches that are affordable plus I really enjoyed the casio film watch and the fishing time one i have a bunch of casio watches that I purchased as a kid and I am still collecting watches til this day love your channel 👍👍
Jeez,as freakin Casio fan,why i havent seen this beforeee! 😱 Great video my mate! 🤘🏻🤩⌚
Hahahaha thank you man!
Awesome video....love a Casio and that film watch was s steal....keep up the great work...only came across your videos yesterday but I'm obsessed and I'm binging them all 👍😁
Thank you so much for finding the channel my friend! Welcome aboard!!!!
Hi, it's my pleasure to share the love of Casio with you. Best regards from Germany
Sim!! You are a gent!!!
I own a AQ230 it’s one of my most beautiful and simple watches I love it
Fantastic my friend!
I have a few Casio (8 or 9 I think?) watches including some I bought decades ago and still as good as new. I also have lost a few (including my first (1st-gen) G-Shock which sits somewhere at the bottom of the Mediterranean sea for 30+ years now). I own a couple of Vintage ones, some G-Shocks and a multi-censor Outgear one Recently, instead of getting change on a transaction at a shop that -also- sells Casio, I picked a W213. The mat silver 'sporty' look is similar to the AE2000WD some other viewer mentioned, so my guess is that it is probably targeted to the same customer group. So it was cheap enough for me to get it just for kicks. And -accepting some small quirks and imperfections- I now (half a year later) realized that I tend to wear it and appreciate it more than I expected. There is this dark area of cheap Casio offerings everyone ignores (the W213 belongs there) and I believe contains many nice watches. They are this decade's version of honest, reliable, cheap, useful Casio. They are worth a mention.
I want to add that w86 to my collection, but it's out of stock everywhere! Great vid!
Wow, loved this episode Russell, especially the bargain finds from your local!
Thanks Sophia!!!
Hey Russ
A great and informative show
I remember some of those Casio's back in the day
Keep them coming
Regards
Thanks Ali! It’s an endless pot of digital loveliness!
Great job you have done. I never get tired of watching Casios. I love ana-digi. What a great brand! Congratulations!
Thank you very much Leo!
W 87H! Big illuminator button on the face, all the other buttons on the left and slightly domed glass!
Yeah I like this one! Though I’m not entirely sure about the strap/bracelet?? Looks too heavy duty for such a small head… need to see it in the resin 👍🏼
I have the G-Shock G100 in the same colors as yours, and I have it since 2013 and It’s a real beast of a watch. I love it!
That watch was donated to the channel! I’ve never worn it as I’m not a massive fan of the design, but it’s a tough mother of a watch!
Absolutely brilliant show Russ 👏👏👏 Your collection is terrific. I particularly love your vintage pieces 🙏👍🙌 Can't wait to see more in the future. Have a wonderful rest of this Sunday. Cheers my friend.
Thanks for watching again Felo and for your kind words! Appreciate it 👍🏼
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR 🙏🙏🙏
Watching this video reminds me when I was a young teenager in the 80s all the watches 👍
Hahaha! I’m glad I gave you a bit of nostalgia today, thanks for watching!
I’d love to hear Kurt Santanas take on the fidget ability of the Ripley crossover, plz big fan
That randomizer worked way better than I had thought.
Hahahahaha
Great show. I love the W-86, had one since the early 2000’s and it’s been all over the world with me.
If you can find one, check out the F-30. Probably the most basic Casio you can get.
Thanks for watching Rupert! Yes I need one of them for the cabinet!;)
And Nick Frost wore a W-86 in Shaun of The Dead!
Casio! Casio! Casio!!!
Great video MWC, thanks for sharing. You have a great collection AND also found a time machine to get back to a watch shop from the 1980s
Totally agree with the B640, in my opinion is the best overall modern digital casio. Its module is superb: time in all modes, alarm on a given day/month, autorepeat timer, and the light can be syncronized with the alarm/timer/chime beeps. The black version will last longer than the silver one, because the case is not painted... although the pvd coat of the bracelet might fade away
I really like your "robocop" anadigi!
I recommend the compass SGH100 and the baro/alti SGH300 outgear watches (cheap protreks), and the WS210, it is solar and packed with features
Thanks my friend! I was very impressed with that Casio I have to admit! The digital screen is so so clear. I will definitely check out those options, thank you!
Hello, I am new to your channel and really enjoying your content. Very entertaining and informative. I love watches and have been a wearer and collector for years. I started buying and collecting G-Shocks in 2013 and have been hooked since then. I don’t own any of the original Casio’s yet but after watching this video on vintage Casio’s I plan to pick some up for their charm and affordable prices. Keep up the great work 👍
Awesome Dennis! Thanks for finding the show and welcome aboard!!
Another top video Russ matey, now after seeing behind the scenes, I realise how much you put into your videos....must get a 291 for my collection.
Thanks Mike as always! You won’t go wrong with that one my friend! Do you have the fishing gear?
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR no I do not but , I have about 8 tide watches, as you l shore fish off Northumberland and the Scottish Borders on an weekly basis, I started fishing 50 years ago, watercraft (when to fish according to weather, water and tide conditions) was drummed into me from an early age by my dad, the fishing gear watch intrigues me. there are a lot of variables to fishing and luck is one of them. My dad once said,' i would rather be a lucky fisherman than a fisherman with a lot of knowledge', I rely on a lot of luck. I like tide watches, its a good way or rather one way to gauge points in the tides cycle, its good to know when its on the turn etc a raging sea and sharp pointy rocks are not a great combination, especially at night, when shore fishing.
Just bought AQ230 yesterday,already have AE1000,1200,A168,fishing gear,and 3 G-Shock but cant get enough of Casio,always wanting more😎
Nice Casishow.
Why not review the Casio AE-2000WD-1AVEF?
Or don't you have that one in your collection?
I really like the work you do thank you for uploading these videos.
Thank you for watching my friend
Brilliant show Russ, loved the short clip of the actual store that you buy from , i get it now , there are a lot of these type of stores in the states and i have bought from these in the past .Can't wait for part 3! SOOOOPER! Don't know if you bought the W-96H ? YOU CAN GET IT FOR A TENNER IN argooos! Awesome backlight and the most comfortable watch i own! W-214H Great orange stunner! also is decent. Keep it up my friend !
Cheers Mal! This show was a loooooong edit! I will check those out Mal cheers and thanks for watching as always!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR There was another one i thought you might like which is the AW-80 Range , ani digi worldtimers , they are cool and just under the 40 quid.
that film watch had me doing a triple take it's so good looking.
I know!! There’s a chance to win it ! Check out the live 10k subscriber show!!
Wow... So Casio seemed markedly better on design and execution in years gone by.
I do love a Casio & I have a rapidly growing collection. Will have to look out for a display case now I’ve seen yours 🤣
Hahahaha! You’ll be lucky 😉 😆
Super fun show, and I learned a lot about Casio! I am old so pardon me, but your voice... its like Frankie Howerd and Kenneth Williams had a love child.......
Hahahahahahathanks for watching Howard! You are definitely showing your age here!!!
You have the most fanboy casio collection i ever did see. Awesome because its casio but you need some vintage models in there as well the jdm models are the best
Had a DBC-62 for a while.
Was an awesome piece of tech.
We were not allowed to take calculators to tests but no one suspected a watch 🤣
How embarrassing would it of been actually trying to use it in a test!!!! So fiddly!
Use a pen 😅
you should try a W-800H-1AVDF - bit of a love or hate one i think. im on the love side - my daily!
I love the energy in these videos haha
Thank you my friend!
Heyo just recently got into collecting Casios and watches in general with an A168. Did some digging around my house and found an older Casio W71 or the “Napoleon Dynamite Casio” totally wasn't expecting a random classic laying around. Just need to find a new band and battery as the one it has is dried/died out.
What a find!!! Give it some life again my friend!!
Great vid, well done. And thanks for sharing those NOS units at the end. Well done finding them.
Just got lucky my friend! I think the well is run dry now though!
Love that flippin great big watch, Russell!
Those dw’s sure are big! Thanks for watching Soggz!
Damn that Britling style , football timer and modern art looking one with triangle and circle dial are all amazing and great prices ...
Il chuck one of my casios in the hat the AQ-S810W i call it a Pre-Shock looks like a G with Tough solar , 100m , 5 alarms , stopwatch, timer, World time and is anadigi all for 35 quid ....
Thank you Mofo! That’s a good shout my friend, a cool ani-digi!
Great show and nice selection too. I'd suggest the MTP 1377-1AVEF Amazon £29.99. stainless steel case/strap very nice black dial and gold hands. Looks great on a NATO strap. Also WV58DA-1AV Waveceptor/World time. Amazon £37.45 has stainless steel/resin case and SS bracelet.
The W-752D-1AVES Amazon £35. Stainless steel/resin case and bracelet with lap memory 60, auto light, 100M WR.
Thanks for watching Tim! I’m not a huge fan of Roman numerals on a dial as it’s a bit too dressy for me, but I do like the gold hands. The waveceptor looks nice, but the integrated bracelet may be a bit big for me. And I may have the same issue with the last one, but I do like the big light button. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR I wasn't keen on Roman numerals either at first but in the flesh it looks much better. I get what you mean about the waveceptor it probably would suit a 7" wrist and above. The bracelet isn't actually integrated it's just on a 16mm flat end link with standard springbars so could take a strap instead. I thought they are just good value for around £30👍
I think it’s worth getting one of those wave cepters in!
The casio film is #1 in my all time wish list
Great bunch of watches!! I can feel a G-Shock feeling coming on...😁
Thanks for the review of the AQ23. Thinking of getting it in gold for my mother in law who has family abroad!
Very smart looking watches my friend!
Brilliant...love the randomiser button. Thanks for another entertaining show 🙌
Cheers Phil!
I want a casio award so bad … great vid man! Love the button!
A random Button for Life!!!!!
Amazing video Russell!! Here’s my entry for another character for your show. A Crocodile Hunter character who judges a watches toughness using the watches materials, water resistance, type of glass, shock/ magnetic resist, etc as qualifying features. You can do a top 10 list with it. Thanks for all you do and keep it up.
Thanks Nicolas!
Fascinating stuff, needed cheering up, so thanks for the fun 👍
Dude, that cabinet is soooo awesome
Those new duros seem to have finally hit Amazon in the USA. There’s even a teal one that I don’t know what to think about. They seem to still have the marlin… hmmm
Yes I’ve noticed the little fishy is still on the dials! I think it came back due to popular demand!!!
Loving that Casio case! Giving me some ideas my friend. 😉👍
Thanks my friend!! You could build one of these I’m sure!!
People will soon be stalking you to find this Casio Aladins cave of yours , entertaining as always
Hahahahaha thank you my friend!
As a fellow casio watchers I must subscribe.
Yes!!!!!
I really like the vintage 90s casio retail display case 👌
It was a great find David!!!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR im now inspired by you and I will look for a display case of my own its so awesome to have something nostalgic like you Casio display case
The film watch desing is something else...
Absolutely!!
It's not the polarizer which is replaced on that modded F-91. With this mod the original polarizer (which makes the numbers visible) remains as it is but an additional coloured gel filter is added (which adds colour but does not polarize the light).
I want to see you go back to that shop and see what else you can buy at 1980s prices!
Great stuff, I have bought a couple of Casios after watching your reviews of them. However, you forgot the AQS800W! A bit over 40£ but totally worth it!
Thanks for watching Linus ! I’ll check out that beast tonight!
Don't really need any of those watches but loved the show. You are definitely putting alot of work in your reviews 👍
Well I appreciate you watching it my friend!
Great vid massive Casio fan, great find with those discontinued models I’m so jealous. I’d love to have a look around that shop….
Hahahaha thank you my friend well I think I e ran the well dry now!;) just got myself a late 90’s databank and stainless steel Lorus fusion though;)
Great video. Recently came to the Casio party with a Casio ‘Royale’ world time. Love it!
Casio Royale is one of the best ones my friend! Thanks for watching Graham!
Very entertaining as usual, but I'm wondering why you seem reluctant to review any Edifice watches. I've become a big fan of them over the last few months.
Never reluctant my good man always willing always wondering! The Best Rolex Explorer Budget Alternative! The Casio EF-121D-1AVEG #rolex #casio
ua-cam.com/video/cjKq8FFCjHk/v-deo.html
Shopping for a fun new Casio watch lead me here and wow are those some beautiful watches!
When you showed the randomizer button, all I could hear was Cobra Commander's voice yelling "IT'S THE RANDOMIZER!!". I think you should give it a go next time lol.
Really enjoying this format mate, so fun and enjoyable. If I was in the market for anything I'd definitely grab a few. But, well, maybe after Christmas
There will be some great deals in the January sales my friend, that’s for sure! Thanks for watching BW!
Great video as always, amazing how much value can sub 40 quid watches give, you just know they’re gonna last decades. Please check out the MQ-24, I think you are gonna love it! Greetings from Mexico
Thanks so much Sergio, appreciate the support! I will check that one out, thanks 👍🏼
I used to have a databank fliptop. I thought it was the coolest watch when i was a kid
Sgw100 is a great watch. It's a bit like a de-tuned protrek and about the same size as the fishing watch. Gshock g2900 is worth a look but a bit over budget. One of the smaller gshocks with an excellent display and a data memory feature.
Thanks for these my friend, I will definitely check them out! Thanks for watching!
I’ve been missing my own Casios did a couple on my knife channel… Casio is lots of fun
Still haven't seen any discontinued Twincept casio, I had one when I was a teenager, I thought they looked cool :-)
I had my w86 for about 10 years and lost it 😢 When the strap disintegrated, it became my pocket watch. Still have my W800 though, but like the other watch, I still need to put a new strap on it.
Mate, I just started watching your videos about a month ago and I have to say I quite like your channel. Also, you have to be so very lucky to have found a shop where you got those nice retro watches for such affordable prices (almost hate you for it). If you ever make a part three maybe you would like to add a Casio HDA 600 on your list. Nice little field watch. Thank you for your great work! 🤘🏻
That Film watch is insanely cool.
Nice collection m8 thanks, that Casio Display Case is so good!
