i'm a doula and i am soooo excited that a woman your age has SO much knowledge and is taking control over your birth. blessings and covering over you and your family 🤎🙏🏽
As Salaam Alaikum sis. You are absolutely right in choosing a home birth. I've given birth naturally in a hospital several times and it was never an ideal experience. I'm 35 weeks and have also chosen to have a home birth this time around. Allah designed our bodies for this. You can do it! (Inshallah) I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayers.
I myself am struggling with the fear of giving birth, the pain... etc but seeing how you explained how important it is to focus on the positives is so helpful. Thank you. Due this month as well.
YESSSS! Home birth for the WIN! Our last two were at home and it was an amazing experience! InshaAllah each surge is one step closer to bringing your baby girl Earthside ❤️
I'm not pregnant, but I loved this video lol! Your point about changing how you speak about things (i.e pressure waves vs contractions or speak of comfort level vs uncomfort level) it can apply to everyday life. I'm excited for you! I hope these next few weeks are as comfortable as possible and hope you have a safe home birth inshaAllah 😊💕
Yess! I totally support home births! I had a home birth last year when i had my son and it was amazing! Stay motivated on doing because most ppl are against. Stay in driker and keepbmaking dua because thats the only way to get through it! I'm praying for u 🙏
What a beautiful healthy attitude!😃 I am so happy for you and Adam. I wish you a safe birth, and I can't wait to be introduced to your beautiful daughter!💞
Take castor oil. Preferably a half bottle with hot water or tea. Walking and exercise a lot!!!! Take Lamaze and focus on the breathing techniques you’ll need to use them a lot!!!! I have had success with these and out of 5 children, I only had an epidural with the first and fourth. If I knew this in the beginning I would have never of had an epidural the first time..really at all! All the best to you! Most High bless!! You are doing the right thing by having your baby at home..and I work in the medical field.
I love you head wrap and outfit. So beautiful. I also love that you chose home birth. My husband and I preparing for one too! I makes me feel so good to see another black couple choosing this path. I did watch your birth story video and it was really nice. My husband is a lot like your husband.
I’m someone who is researching all birth methods, mostly home births. I love how informative you are❤️ Do you mind sharing which online hypno-birthing class you choose?
It's interesting how in the US you can choose & book a midwife. What if you're unable to, will you not receive any form of support? I'm in the UK and our healthcare is nationalised so everything is arranged on your behalf (with your agreement of course)
@@YasmineSimone I bet there have been instances where individuals did not have insurance and ended up giving birth without medical interference? Nonetheless, I wish you a safe easy birth and most importantly a healthy child. Meanwhile may Allah grant all your blessings. Amiin
Can you please link your midwifes & Doulas information ? I’m pregnant and in the same state as you and would love to have a home birth. Thanks so much ✨
MashaAllah, you are glowing and look so beautiful1 Your videos are always so relaxing to me. Is that a robe you're wearing or a shirt? If so where from? InshaAllah you will have a smooth delivery. Wishing you and your husband the best!
Is home birth safe? I was suggesting it to my husband and he said no he said its dangerous for both mum and baby if there are any complications and if the mum needs a c section or something so why do people still choose home birth if there is a high risk of complication or am i getting my facts wrong? Thank u. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.
Home births are typically not for high risk pregnant women(I am not high risk). Most women know the risks well before birth via their doctor. Emergencies can happen, but you would just go to the nearest hospital if that was the case🤷🏾♀️simple
@@YasmineSimone thank u so much for this. Its my first pregnency and i am having all my test results normal and doctor said i would be alright and things but still advice against home birth as its my first pregnency and anything can happen which might escalate the situation so he said rather be safe then sorry. So if first pregnency goes smoothly can one do home birth for the 2nd pregnency as it would be assuming then one would have a smooth pregnency again without complications
Aqilah Banu Abdul Majeed push for what you’re comfortable with. At the end of the day, you’re the one pushing the baby out. If you have a nearby hospital I would say talk to your doctor and husband and insist you want to give birth at home.
I think you're about to giving birth because all womens in my family have this filled water face few days before they delivery. I wish you a good luck and hope you will have a good moment inshallah 🙏🏾 ❤❤❤ ( PS : it's my birthday on august 9 🥰 )
My questions: Are you supposed to go straight to the hospital after delivery? Who stitches you up after the baby comes out?Are you more likely to get an infection at home? ..Anyone who has experienced this, please let me know
Dajia Star there is no hospital necessary unless there is an emergency. The midwife is licensed and trained medically, she is able to do stitches and much more. I don’t see how you would be more likely to get an infection...At least at home you aren’t being subject to multiple unnecessary vaginal checks which actually can lead to infection
Lets keep it real the language, hospital, or obgyn is not the main worry women have. The baby passing through the birth canal with less pain as possible is the real fear period.
@@YasmineSimone Exactly. I was definitely more afraid of unnecessary interventions than the pain of child birth. At least child birth is natural, everyone has done it. Stay positive ✨ 🙏
