Yea I’ve seen an interview where he says on the tour bus they aren’t wild, doing drugs. I’m sure they drank and smoked but I haven’t seen anything saying they were on drugs. Idc if they were personally but it’s crazy how hype and amazing he is live either way.

Saw these guys open for Korn and fell in love with these band. They were so hated by everyone and Jimmy just fed off that negative energy. People were throwing coins on stage and he came out after the set and picked up the money.

Oh god my sides. Jimmy had so much more energy 13 years ago. His little bits in between songs and ad-libbing during the songs are just brilliant, I wish he was still as clever during shows and not so scripted.

I saw this tour and people threw mad shit at them and booed like crazy. That was in Philly, PA.
I remember that's how I found out about them. my mom took me to this Sick and Twisted tour when I was like 13 because I was a Korn fan. but MSI skipped opening for my podunk midwestern state, and I thought "what are they too offensive?", so looked them up on AOL, and the rest is history

I remember seeing this tour in Madison, WI, barely knew who MSI was, the audience booed them and threw change at them, and that is when I fell in love with them.

saw them open for System of a down..20ish years ago..jesus... anyway, the crowd just didnt know what the hell was happening. lol
I got bored and did some research into when this show likely was.
Korn didn't tour with MSI in 1999 as far as I could find, but they did in 2000 during the Sick and Twisted tour.
At one point Jimmy mentioned there being a Britney Spears show the night before, looking that up I found the Oops I Did It Again tour, also in 2000.
The only time during this tour that MSI was in the same area as Britney was the August 7th 2000 show when they both played California. Two towns a few hours apart. Korn and MSI played Bakersfield California that night, and Britney played Wheatland the night before.
Other than that they weren't ever playing the same state one day after Britney.

i saw the skydome show in toronto and it makes sense this was in california as that was three shows out from a canadian leg of the tour, which matters because at one point in this set jimmy also mentions he has canadian money on him.
there's some soccer ball banner in pt2 but its all blurry and you dont get any other shots of the venue

I bought the MSI comic bookand they mention a tour they had with “COB” and their guitar player “CHIMPY” was drunk, lost and could not be found. Turned out he was under Kittys drumkit the whole time hiding. Best comic ever
In Portland they didn’t even get through one song before they got booed and gallons of beer thrown on them. It was hilarious.

First concert I ever went to was to see KoRn, knew a little about Staind but, my 13 year old self didn't know what to think of this musical oddity as I walk down the steps of the auditorium. It was on April 14th '99 or 2000 in Charlotte. The next day or at the next KoRn concert they broke some sort of record for the loudest concert at the time...
My first concert ever was MSI Staind and Korn. I was in sixth grade. I do remember MSI pretty much got booed off the stage but watching this now they’re actually musically pretty tight even if they really come off as complete dorks it’s obviously half intentional. That give me a dollar bit was awesome.

This was the beginning of an unprecedented perfect show run that lasted until they stopped touring for You'll Rebel...
After that, they released If... and it was an immediate downward spiral. With Frankenstein Girls turning 20, I feel they can bring it all back.

I saw them in Baltimore and in Tokyo Japan, and the Japan show was amazing I met lyn-z afterwards and she invited me and my friend as we were the only Americans there backstage where I met them all of pics and autographed drumsticks. One lucky Japanese girl there got Steve’s guitar!
Hey I remember seeing a comment about them touring in Japan and talking about the guitar!!! The commenter talked about how it was a free concert yet they still put a lot of energy into the concert
@@Sweetb1tez the show I was at in Japan was a free show! It was crazy too there was only like maybe at most ten people, myself and a friend were the only two Americans there the rest were Japanese and at the time our gfs who were Brazilian. Even with such a small crowd they played their hearts out. Steve broke his guitar in half and handed it to two Japanese chicks. The drummer did give me drum sticks which they all signed and I still have to this day
