I'm uncertain who recommended this to me, but I've been here before ‼️ Not over addiction, but loss of family,,, Please remember to be respectful of people's losses ❣️
It’s definitely a beautifully written song that shines a light on a very dark headspace if you listen to the words.. it’s easy to get caught up in a catchy melody and lose track of the feelings behind.. thanks for listening!
They say play like nobody’s listening. You sing as though you feel the words. We need more of this. Well done, as your feelings are conveyed to us that are listening. Thanks.
Kyle, ......... just WOW!!! God has surely blessed you with skillz dude! Thanks for blessing us with your awesome voice & wonderful musical talents in this great performance. Be blessed.
You done did good, son. Firstly, you chose the perfect guitar for this song. Secondly, the guitar part is medium difficulty, the vocal part is hard.... AND you nailed it!
@@kylezinsky1542 I have a lx balladeer from the 90’s. Was my first guitar. I don’t play it as much lately. (Always reach for my Martin d-41) but when I do get it out , I love it’s sound. Ovation are some great guitars! Yours sounds great! Voice too.
@@TinyTurboTuna mine was t my first guitar but it was my first acoustic. I can definitely see how you might reach for a d-41 more often but I do love the sound of an ovation and mine plays better than any other acoustic I’ve ever had my hands on. It plays almost like an electric(granted I do play elevens on my strat and my tele). But they have a unique tone specific to them for sure. Thanks again for listening!
Nah man this is in an open tuning.. bear with me here cause it’s convoluted.. lol.. the song is originally played in open E tuning (low to high EBEG#BE- same notes as an E chord).. but I don’t like tuning strings up higher than standard so usually I use open D (DADF#AD-same thing tuned down a whole step) and capo at the second fret for open E.. but on this particular day I was tuned down a half step because I had brand new strings that sounded too bright to suit me so I had to move the capo up to the third fret. Long story short- the song is generally played in open E tuning with no capo
Just a man in the woods playing a guitar. What we need more of in this world
