Way to maximize an amazing opportunity. Thank you for sharing. An absolute beauty. :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a fine bucky !!
Beautiful animal captured very well. What on earth could have possibly caused 58 (at this viewing) viewers to give the video a "Thumbs Down"?
Awesome footage
Glad you enjoyed it
He was rubbing his scent glands on the pole. They have scent glands above their eyes to inform other bucks of his territory and to inform the does he's there. Watch how he sniffs the pole after he rubs.
Nice video man! Huge buck.
I did not know that. Thank you for sharing!

You made me laugh with your words! LOL!
He's bucking magnificent.
+Hamza Ahmad Shaikh Thanks
No doubt an awesome buck and an awesome video. It had me reaching for my 7MM Rem Mag. But with all due respect, I doubt it was the size of a bull elk.....
nmelkhunter1 A little exaggeration on my part
Nice
Thanks
Holy crap! His antlers looked almost like a bull elk's antlers!
big boy!
SchwiftedBear...guess you’ve never seen a bull elks antlers.
Nice clip.
Navaro Palm Thanks
Beautiful buck! I'd love to see a buck like that. Maybe through my scope in November!
amazing footage what kind of camera was used to video and what distance was this shot at?
We use 600/4 lenses and Canon DSLR bodies. We try to be 100 yards or less with out disturbing the animals.
Where's the shot??
how come no1 guhnd this pof down!!
nice
+Jacob Hanson Thanks
I've been working my ass off for one like that for years!
Nice buck, great footage, but explaining what a doubler is might help us non- photographer bugs a bit.
Mark Schofield Makes a 10x lens 20x
Nice footage, which Canon body are you using? You're doing with better with maintaining focus than I do with my 5D III.
Stan Cunningham This was shot with 7D, however our new 7D mark ll bodies do a really nice job
Thanks Greg, thinking seriously about the 70D. My problem is I like taking stills too much and don't concentrate on the video enough. How to afford two big lenses is beyond me.
Seen a buck like this near Clines Corners New Mexico
This buck is so cute shed hunter most love his sheds i love his mustash he looks so friendly but i know he would kill another buck
Where in Colorado was this?
RMA/Denver
Nice buck, but in Utah we don't count eyeguards.
Yeah we do! Boone and Crocket does so why are you cheating yourself? Hang a ring on it and its a counter.
James Holloway Utah fish and game doesnt.
deedle6785 and since when are they relevant when scoring is done on national standards?
James Holloway agreed, but I hunt for meat and yes if the chance comes a big one. But I grew up with fish and game guys and I just have always scored mine that way.
Understand your situation and training by friends in DWR but, as I said, .....look up the scoring on Pope and Young and Boone and Crocket that would give you the national and international standards for Bow and Gun.
Too far for the winmag but close enough for solid steady footage?
Mountain Rat I have some big glass and a huge tripod and head
gregbalvin Well nicely done on the footage! What glass you shooting with?
Mountain Rat Canon 600 F/4
+Mountain Rat It's called the Hubble space telescope :-P
+Mountain Rat It's called the Hubble space telescope :-P
duh
looks light to me Idk why u said there was no light left
Overexposing the shot can make darkness look light
