Just came across your channel, and I thought I would share my thoughts with you. I have seen one moose in the wild, which blew my mind! It was huge! What an amazing creature to see. I also got to see bighorn sheep like in your video and wow! Let me just say from a guy from Nashville TN that your video was beautiful. The scenery, the animals, the snow! The music was so soothing. Very well done. New sub here. I will be back. Thank you for showing me the beauty on our planet.

Hello Josh! Ooh, how I love moose, they are so beautiful and funny! Thank you very much for such wonderful shots!
    1) Please tell me, what brand of mittens are you wearing at 7:08? I also want to find warm ones for myself, so that I can also use my fingers.
    2) At 13:03 strong winds are blowing. What kind of tripod and head do you use so that the footage doesn’t shake in such a strong wind? I use a Sony FX30 + Sigma 150-600mm, but a cheap tripod with a head and my footage is jerky, so I want to find and buy a more stable option :).

      1. The Heat Company! They are amazing, and I cant say enough good things about them. They are on the pricey side, and I cut off the finger tips myself haha, but totally worth it!
      2. So, my tripod and head are not that great. I spent a lot of time stablizing the footage later. I am going to be getting a new tripod and head today actually! That will hopefully solve my issues. Ill be doing a full review on them in the next couple weeks, so stay tuned!

I totally agree about some of the irresponsible people and these beautiful animals. Some get way too close, and don't respect the fact that these are wild animals. They get complacent and sometimes the animals pay for it in one way or another. I live less than an hour from GTNP and see some pretty bad examples of stupid people. Love your page Brother. Great video, and really enjoyed watching all of your footage, you have an excellent eye for detail. Funny, as I was watching your video, I was going to ask here in the Comment Section, whether you happened to run into Steve Mathias...lo and behold around the 18 min mark you mentioned running into him and also it was good to hear he is as nice a guy as he is in his YT videos. I don't know him, but watch a lot of his videos and learn a lot. One thing wanted to mention, I really like how you include clips of yourself as your walking around looking for that next spot...it shows not only how much you enjoy what you are doing, but that it is hard work too, weathering the weather, snow flurries, etc. Anyway, thanks again for doing these videos, as I know they are a lot of work devoting countless hours in the editing room!

    Hi Josh,
New here to your channel and I've got to say that was a pleasure to watch, great editing skills and some lovely photography! Well done on highlighting the fact that some photographers just can't get close enough to the subject! Not only do they put themselves at risk they also put a great deal of stress and strain on the wildlife at a particularly hard time of the year! You've also got a fantastic way of projecting yourself on camera and it's going to be a joy to follow your work!
Moose I've yet to see let alone photograph so that's on the list for me coming from the UK to Canada, well done on the great video and best of luck going forward in 2024.

Hi Richard! Thanks so much for watching! And I TOTALLY agree with you! A lot of people need to learn that them getting their "perfect" shot, should not require the animal ever being stressed about your presence. I really appreciate all of the kind words, and thank you so much for watching!

You won me over with the videos of Moose and your stand on some who are being an idiot with wildlife, putting the wildlife at risk as well as one's self. You are also right, they make the res of us look bad and can cause limitations imposed due to their poor behavior.
