  • Come along and watch as Springwood Organic Farm of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania mows, teds, rakes, bales, wraps, and stores 120 acres of hay in one day.
The merger footage shown is from the previous season. Being a one man band I couldn’t get to all the fields fast enough to get all the work being done that day. The rest of the footage was taken that day.

Thank you for this video very well organized outfit to get the hay in on time and get it off the field .I enjoyed this all amazing the way that pottinger baler bales and wraps the hay at the same time.

Modern ag is so very focused on the finish and maybe not enough of the slow and comfy process necessary to create.

The merger parts are not of the same fields that day. I can tell by the windrows. Looks like the merger was doing 1st cutting for a big chopper to follow and the rest was 2nd cutting that was brought together by something else and not that merger as the windrows are much more uniform for a baler

You’re right. I had to use the merger footage from last year since I wasn’t able to get any this year since I couldn’t get to the fields fast enough.
