I really like George Carlin’s thoughts too, be careful to not deify Carlin. Question everything, everyone, any anything. Even George Carlin would agree with that one.

Absolutely. Saw him at the Comedy Store in LA. We arrived over 2 hours early thinking there'd be a line around the block, we knew he was getting up there in age & had relapsed into old behavior. We sat right where we wanted to & people didn't even start showing up for about an hour and a half. I was like this is GEORGE FREAKIN' CARLIN !!! Only in LA.

I saw him live in Houston back in the 80s. I was laughing so hard so much of the time, I couldn't catch a breath and prayed he would stop for just one minute so I could recover. I loved him.

My Dad introduced me to a handful of George's comedy albums in the nineties when I was about 14 or 15. My mind certainly more malleable back then, more vulnerable to influence, George's observations regarding the human condition, his monologues did much to influence my opinions on a lot of things regarding behaviour, politics, the system, indeed I often wonder to myself what George would have to say about this or that. I sure do wish he was still around...
Anyway, my favourite comic! - Thanks for sharing.

You're judging the entire left based on the far left. The far left is hated by A LOT of people on the left, probably more than those on the right. That's why you see comedians like Ricky Gervais, Bill Maher, Bill Burr, Andrew Doyle, and Dave Chappelle going after these a$$holes. Carlin absolutely hated PC/sjw woke culture. He went after them far more than he did conservatives. He would really rip them apart with his stand-up if he was still alive. Oh, and if you're not familiar with Andrew Doyle then Google "Titania McGrath", and you'll see how foolish he made the far left look.

I on the other hand can say there are many issues I agree with on both the left and right.
