FYI - If you stick with +4mm offset wheels, like the OEM TRD Pro wheels have and you keep the lift under 3" you will not need a BMC as the scrub radius is not adversely impacted. There will be no rubbing. This is explained in detail on Kai's YT channel, "Tinkerer's Adventure." He's a mechanical engineer. Following his advice, I was able to mount 255/80R17 (33") tires. The slightly narrower width really aids with traction, especially on gravel, and other slippery surfaces. I did swap out the mud flaps for Ark splash guards for a cleaner look. Sticking with 33" tires is a smart move. It minimizes stress on the drivetrain and steering rack. Depending on your vehicle's weight, you might consider a regear. Safe travels!
bought it on amazon, vivo car desk mount. amzn.to/3SPYAcS I will say the hardware is not very good. I stripped a couple of them while installing it lol but it gets the job done
Great video Tim. You better make sure you have service this weekend big UFC lol Who you going for Izzy or DDP I hope DDP wins tired of seeing Izzy get all these title shots lol. Are you stil making your canada trip just not Jasper?
Really enjoyed your video and wish you the best of luck living out on the road. I’ll be watching what and how you do this. While *I* won’t be living on the road, I want to be able to do this for a week or so on an adventure. I just took delivery of a 2024 4Runner TRD ORP+ last week add am excited to turn it into a capable rig like yours. -Chris⛰️🚙

Thanks! Yea I didn’t mind the rubbing when I had the trd wheels. It didn’t rub that much. Was thinking of getting those ark splash guards too!

Due to the fires probably not yet. Seems to have quieted down a bit though. For some reason, I don't see a lot of marketing for izzy's return lol

Thanks! The offroad premium is the best option for the 4runner in my opinion
