For anyone who thinks this is cheesing the game, it isn't really. Its actually very realistic. Clubs don't often pay 100% upfront, they pay in large instalments over a year or several years.

Dude there’s no wonder your so popular on UA-cam and twitch I literally did not take in anything you said cus I was just laughing the whole way through so now I have to watch it again 😂
I often buy players who are worth, let’s say 10M for 5M up front and then 5M after 50 games. Which can only happen at the end of the second season at best. But I sell them a season and a half later for around 20M if they have done well. You do this with 3 or 4 players and you have turned 20M into 80M and you just do it all again. Do this with 18-23 year olds and they are almost certain to make you money and improve your team!
Another great vid from Zealand. Although I wish I hadn't seen the Base Rivals video; I already spend too much time on this game. And the "don't cheat as much" resolution for FM21 is killing me. 9 games into my Leyton orient promotion to The Championship, and I have 5 points. Don’t know if anyone uses it, but I ALWAYS use the competition use and lock it to a single season, especially when I know we won’t meet that expectation. Great way to bump value significantly.
The classic one in selling a player is where you add extra payments after playing just 1 game! lol Especially when you have a player that is going nowhere near his actual value. Add that and you'll get back your value for the player
Hello Zealand, You're saying that you cannot do anything when they have minimum fee rc. I thought so as well, but if you declare the footballer as a top transfer target and he is interested he can request transfer and if the club is willing to let him go the asking price will be much less than the minimum fee release clause. I had this case ot fm20 where I got Illaix Moriba with Leicester fo 19.5 mil when he had 100mil minimum fee release clause. Hope this helps other players as well :)
My best deal was last year with Arezo. Man City signed a deal for £50m up front plus £15m after 30 games and 50% of the next fee. Didn’t want to sell so pushed them as far as I could. Shame I never got to see any money as I moved to FM 21.
Wish I'd thought about future buying fees in my current save. Loaned a striker from Reading who is now at the club for his 3rd season and one of "my" best players (I'm Harrogate in Championship). When I first loaned him he was worth 450k, he's now valued at £5m.
the club forced/accepted the offer for my best player, when they sold it they told me was a poor trade because the player was worth more... good way to triggering people
I generally use very rich teams like psg and rmadrid to get rid of my large contracts. For example, there is a guy on your team with a 4 year 7m€ contract and you cannot find anybody willing to pay this dude around or over 7m€. You go and find a guy in PSG which is on transfer list and can be bought by you for a little money. Then you can just add those high contracts to the deal and finalise the transfer like that.
I stole money once by buying Weston McKennie, and putting a clause "after games played" knowing full well that I'd only have him for one year, so he'd never play 50 league games. This got even further confirmed when he wanted guarantees of playing in a specific role (locked in), when I bought him to play him wherever I need someone (ended up playing more at right back), and lo and behold, after 12 months he was angry at where he got played and demanded a transfer, saving me like €12-15m. Good times. This was my Benfica save, easy to make them a relatively dominant team, so I had kids coming through who were going to cover the places I needed McKennie for, but they needed another year out on loan.
If you combine this with a bit of patience and good squad management (which basically boils down to praising people for training or bitching at those who don't to build opinions) you can absolutely finesse teams like PSG and Real Madrid. I once sold Lingard for 90 million.
Hey buddy, 1st to say i love your videos, i watched almost every single one. At this one, installments over 12months doesn't mean to be payed over 1 year, its installments for 12 months 3 times, so you get that total money in 3 years :). Keep up a good job
I use most of these. When selling will let a club spread over a few years as regular income and smash the price high. Also add after 10 appearances for club or country if you know they are guaranteed to pay. Made 190 million on one player doing this. When buying do same but appearance on high level like 50 games. If they aren't any good sale before they reach. I hade player I paid 5 million up front with 30 million in appearances. Sold for 60 million only ever paid 5 million. It works.
Percentage of next sale is broken. I sold Van De Beek in my Fm19 career mode for 60m to Barca. 2 seasons later he went to PSG for 80m. I hade 36m. Overall I made more than 95m in 3 seasons from doing so.
Yes, you did exclude that "per appearance" fee, but that doesn't mean anything to the AI. I've done that and then proceeded to receive a counter offer of almost 16M€ in per appearance fees.
I've used the profit from next sale and made millions from it somehow (thanks CSL lunacy), I attached it to every single deal with Burton Albion and within 6 months I'd made an extra £750k on top of the money given to me already, as for the other two thanks Zealand I'll try them out

Well, the best transfer negotiation tools are save and load. Save the game before negotiating and keep trying the fee limit the club is willing to pay for it. If the negotiation fails, reload and try again until the price you want it.
quick question. if you sell a player for 0€ and 700.000€ in 3 installments like you did, where does the calculation for the profit of next sale get his numbers to calculate from? is it the 0€?
If the money is guaranteed (whether it's up front or over some time) it's counted as his "base" sell price, if it depends on something (like apps, goals, etc) then it's not Profit of next sale only takes into account the "base" transfer fee

This reminded me of an exploit that allowed you to literally steal money from other clubs in FM20. If you got an offer that was negotiable, you could lower the fee and offer terms, and if they accept then right click on the amount and select whatever you want from the drop down menu, all the way up to 300M, then confirm the offer. This actually had an impact on the other club's finances too, so I bet Man City feel real dumb after paying 300M for a 17 year old with 80 PA and going into administration because of it.

I don’t know if Zealand really knows what he’s doing sometime... like you not selling money if a player is worth £375k and you’re buying them by £50k less
The value of a player has nearly nothing to do with how much you have to pay to get them. At BATE my players values were like 3 million and I would sell them for 75-90 million because they’re UCL winning quality but just in a bad league
That's actually not very smart, because the player's value might increase over three years. And if you sold him for $500k over three years and his value is $300k now, in three years, he might be worth $725k... guess who just got a good deal? The buying club.
Obviously, so you put in sell on clauses. But he's still selling him for much more than he would have. You could apply this same principle to all deals, not just installment ones.

@@Erikaaaaaaaaaaaaa did you see him the year he was bought? He was crazy good IMO, overpriced yes, bad fit yes but Kepa for €80.000.000 for example is far worse for me.
@@Cedisdead Kepa is worse, Coutinho is still bad. Barcelona is on the verge of bankruptcy because they kept over-paying for players. Coutinho, Griezmann, even de Jong. Barcelona simply overspent.
They just pull the the Non-negotiable on the whole offer.. 😅
I get this wonderful feeling in my pants when you upload
Zealand sucking money out United gives real life presentation of Glazers doing the same, for the Buccs and Zealand is a Buccs fan too!
I think the Glazers manage the Bucs well. Much better than United anyway.
Zealand’s family were Bucs fans way before Glazers bought the Bucs. Its not always easy being a Bucs fan, but Brady and players sure made it fun this year! 🎉
Zealand making chest hair cool again, my man
I managed to get 30m for a 31 year old midfielder with a loan back for a year paying nothing on his wages from a Chinese club
I do pay zero and pay after the 20 international games 👍then sell the player on after a year or two
This reminded me of an exploit that allowed you to literally steal money from other clubs in FM20.
Nice t-shirt, man. I approve #toffees
Incredible choice of jersey
Makes some mistakes in the video while the whiteboard in the background literally says pay attention LOL
How much money can we get through instalments? More than 150% of the players' value?
How'd you get the player faces?
Can we talk about your thumbnail game
Phenomenal thumbnail!
Hey,does anyone know how I can tell my throw-in man to ,you know, NOT THROW THE BALL RIGHT TO THE KEEPER?
just wondering.
Probably the same way you tell your players to stop hauling ass to save a ball from going out of bounds, then overrunning the ball so the other team can pick it up and run with it....
I'm in need of a save my save bro I'm using barnet and struggling heavily to get any sort of players even free players wont come to my club I've been refused by a player who didnt wanna trial at my club 🤣😥🤔 running out of ideas here
When you make an offer to buy a player you can try to make an offer for 0 initial fee but a 40-50% from the next sale. Typically they will accept if the player's asking value is lower than 10 million. Thank me later.
i would have been impressed if he actually used a portable vacuum
That thumbnail is hilarious 😂😂
yeah try managing a big club, a youth player worth no more than 6M and they want like 25M for him HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
and then try selling a flop, like you HAVE to buy for example Havertz a few years ago and they want like 100 mil for him he flops and suddenly, teams are bidding like 40M for him like fam
Gotta promise them that champions league win bonus in the millions whilst playing as a minor club
Z, are you entering the competition to become a regen?
Works in FM20?
Oh, zealand, don't you know?
My vacuum is ALWAYS set to suck 😏
Barcelona sat watching 👁💧👄💧👁. After the dig at couthino
Zealand Stop listening to the Haterz. You can't convert them or appease them, so just stop trying. Your energy is better spent trying to help us, the people that ain't experts and get bored stiff on other channels. Pretty much all the Trolls on this channel come from them in the first place. I did tell you some time ago, be careful, some of the UA-cam people you think you're impressing are really just using you and their band of Trolls are the ones that are haunting your comments. Cough workmyass cough doctor Jerries cough. mentioning no names ofc.
I just came from a video where you were shitting on thiago nuss lol
Content is still gold but um.... Check for a refund on the evil laugh course..
🤣
Does anyone happen to know why my youth team are no longer playing in a youth league even though I upgrade my youth level costing money that we pretty much don’t have but they still don’t play anything but friendlies and the fa cup
Subbing as the content is great but that shirt!! Coyb
Best thumbnail ever from a fm video
That coutinho club pays €200m a year to a single player
Found the appearances trick yet?
2 MINUTES EARLY, NEVER EVEN REALISED!
Appropriate jersey :D #UTFT
Thiago Nuss is lookin' based
Coutinho was that good tbf
3:24 You do realise that means they’ll pay it every 12 months, not over 12 months?
I don’t know if Zealand really knows what he’s doing sometime... like you not selling money if a player is worth £375k and you’re buying them by £50k less
Considering that they asked 1mi for him, 325k is cheap af
Estimated value doesn't really matter + he said his scout was outdated
The value of a player has nearly nothing to do with how much you have to pay to get them. At BATE my players values were like 3 million and I would sell them for 75-90 million because they’re UCL winning quality but just in a bad league
nEverton shirt. You lost me there.
That thumbnail was class
Zealand playing Luigi’s Mansion in FM
OUR LORD AN SAVIOUR IS WEARING THE RIGHT COLOURS #UTFT Reece
That's actually not very smart, because the player's value might increase over three years. And if you sold him for $500k over three years and his value is $300k now, in three years, he might be worth $725k... guess who just got a good deal? The buying club.
Obviously, so you put in sell on clauses. But he's still selling him for much more than he would have. You could apply this same principle to all deals, not just installment ones.
... does he know how installments work?
Yes, but also misread the installment he did in the video, so does he really?
You got this wrong haha, it's over 3 years not 1
