To the people hating on this album, and iGluon is too nice, let me spell it out. If you see this album is boring, then honestly, you are either musically ignorant or you came into the album wanting to hate it because it isn't classic Pink Floyd. You are easy to spot because you offer literally nothing the conversation except canned emoty comments. Ironic, right? You call this album empty by using empty useless comments. Move on people, you are not worthy.
@mhantrax Thank you for your comments. I respect everyone's opinion. I personally enjoyed the album and believe it to be one of Gilmour's best works. Additionally, I am looking forward to seeing him perform at the Hollywood Bowl next month. Best regards. 🙏✌️❤️👍
At 4:44 when you start talking about the barn jam and you both speak about how "they used" Rick Wright piano, and "It's like thy're jamming together". Don't you know, they're actually jamming? It's in the title of the song!! It's a recording available on the gilmour DVDs from 2006 or 2007. They're actually jamming on a barn owned by Gilmour after the On An Island Tour.
From what I've heard so far, I think it's very well done. Where I think it's not quite as good as classic Floyd is in the actual music itself, I think the chord changes are not as musically effective.
I love Dave G but do not think this is his strongest solo album, it's good but not as good as previous records. His solos are still awesome but this album with one or two exception sounds far too bluesy for my liking.

Why should he have to follow in the pink Floyd
Great video and very informative. Well done. I never been really into his work you are making me interested in his art 🎸 😊 ❤

incorrect
I love music but this album is utter bland nonsense.. over produced banal pap
@@simpsimpson5175 exactly, it is nonsense,
Very informative post. Nice job. I think the album is really good.
Thank you 🙏 I loved the album. My favorite track is the title track “Luck and Strange”. What’s yours ?
@igluonvinyls so far, it would be the title track. I need a few more spins for it to sink in.
@Vinylshack awesome 🙏❤️👍💪
Sad. A very boring middle of the road album.
@stuartraybould2574 thank you for your comments. 🙏❤️👍
I thought his wife was named Polly Samson, not Polly Simon…?
Hi there thank you for your comments. Yes it is Polly Samson. It appears we have a typo we sincerely apologize. 🙏

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. 🙏💯✌️👍
This is nowhere near any Floyd album .. But it's cool he is still there
Thank you for your comments. 🙏❤️👍
Polly Samson, not Polly Simon. Not difficult if you take a few seconds to check it out.
Thanks for correcting it was a typo. Thanks again for your comments. 👍❤️🙏
Its not for me. Its just not what I like to hear him do. Its ok though, he owes me nothing and his greatness remains intact. 😊
Thank you for your honest feedback 🙏❤️👍💯✌️
So many empty words.
Appreciate your comments 🙏👍❤️
It's bull.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I appreciate your honesty and engagement with the content.
David Gilmore is my hero but not because of luck and strange
I understand the sentiment and respect your choice. At least we have one thing in common we both think “Gilmour” is a hero 🙏👍❤️💯✌️👏❤️
