I have the Fox Knives model 598 fixed-blade Karambit, and it is THE single sharpest knife I've ever held in my hand in my entire life, and it's not even close. It's as close to a fighting razorblade as you can get, and I would NOT want to be on the receiving end of it. Even without my gun on my hip, I never feel unarmed with this thing. I remember the day I got it, I took it out of the box and the plastic packaging, and felt the edge.....the edge was so fine that it actually caught between a swirl on my thumb, went beneath that first layer of skin, and left a shallow quarter-inch-long shallow cut. I immediately pulled my thumb back. It didn't bleed and it didn't hurt, but it was quite shocking. It was like a shallow papercut. I've NEVER encountered a knife that sharp before. And the tip absolutely glitters in pretty much any light at any angle.
My favorite fixed blade to date. Recently purchased the Marbled Carbon fiber (2nd run) and the new Super Stuck Ivory damascus versions... Awesome grail knives!
Bob! Just walked out of my LGS where I saw this in the case and grabbed it! .. thinking, of course that is be first up to review - darn!!! 😎🗡️👍 Niox contains Niobium, has good edge holding and toughness, is very fine grained and used by French, German, and Belgian knife makers.
If you like this knife look at the Bastinelli creations silence slim ( Not the large one ). It is the finest small single edge knife I have ever owned. Out of hundreds. Made by Fox.. It is seriously outstanding.
Please explain Don, I can tell by your double exclamation marks that you want me to understand you... is ha-doUken the traditional style of Japanese knife that this emulates? Please explain.
The Tanto is cool, I like it, it is beautiful , simple, very easy to use. But I checked the price, it is close to 200 bucks, it highly over my budget. I’m looking for same shape and high cost-performance one
Wow this is the first modern traditional tanto that really speaks to me. Definitely adding it to my list of future purchases!
Beautiful knife! I'd argue with the fact that it has a tanto-like design. It actually looks like a puukko knife.

Sweet knife! Be a good addition to a plate carrier or belt.
Just want this, and dye the micarta in black!
That would look fierce!
That is awesome 👍👍👍👍👍
Nilox is basically a high end D2 from what I understand.
Reviews are great.
I have a question, is the grinding hollow or flat?
Thanks for sharing.

Ryu is a video game character from Street Fighter who yells ha-doUken every time he does his signature move 😎
I can only find the black one in stock :(
Blade HQ has the white one in stock.
Thanks for the heads up! I was on the notification list and I’m wearing it right now :)
@@trevor894 Your Welcome.
Niceee!! I think I'm going to go ahead and get the black one.
Niolox seems to be like D2 with more toughness .
Check out Walter Sorrells Tactix Armory knives.
