I Bought A 1929 Model A Chassis To Build A Racecar! It's Supposed to Run... But Will It??

- So there's a race coming up in 30 days and with the Yard Art Model A being far from finished, i decided to pick up this 29 Model A chassis to try to throw together a banger racecar! The story is that this little A chassis is a good runner, just throw gas in it and hook up a battery! Well, it wasn't quite that easy... Got a little bit of work to do before this thing is even close to race ready... Can it be done in 30 days???

Yet another great video ! Very positive, constructive and also a great chill to enjoy.
Cool project! Looking forward to you putting the two Pontiac blowers on top for the dirt drags! Keep the videos coming.
It's great seeing you rocking on the projects again. Those older engines were so primitive by today's standards.
This was a good video to see...not as others whom is often talked to death...waiting for the next one...where you get the engine spin.
Potential 👍
I did the same with a 35 Chevy Truck , wood was rotted and missing a bed and doors 🤷..
Strap on a seat and Enjoy 🤘🤪
Happy Motoring ✌️🤠
Good luck on the engine
I just spent a couple weeks making a video on a very similar thing, you have a new sub here and I’ll look forward to watching your progress!
Great to see you back in the shop and I hope you keep us up with this project, im sure you will get it ready for the race
Hey Ben, that’s going to be a cool project, too bad the engine wasn’t as you expected but I know u you you’ll get it sorted out. There’s a UA-cam channel up in Alberta, Canada called Strong’s Garage that does a lot of Model T and A stuff and they have some old Model T race cars they’ve built and show the races, they’re fun to watch if you want to check them out. Have a great weekend!
Nice to see you back on YT Ben. Love watching you get things done! Please don’t make us wait long for your next vid. Be well. 💯
That actually appear to be a 1928AR chassis. If it has the 1 piece solid crossmember front motor Mt., ,,for sure. Love, DUBS.
Great video/info…thanks!
Looking forward to the next video.
l have watched yard art videos from the beginning of the rebuild. Maybe a cool roll bar build added would be cool too….
In rust we trust!
Eu não vejo a hora de ver este seu projeto, eu sou do Brasil e tenho uns amigos de Boston e Vermont 🇺🇸🇧🇷👈🏿
Not quiet what you was expecting Ben , but having said that they cant be many of them left anyway so bargain either way mate 😁😁🤘🤘
You're in the same boat as me! Wanna race? Lemme rebuild a 95 year old engine and you're on!
Where are you located?
@@rottersgarage I'm in Upstate NY
@@rottersgarageYou can find me on UA-cam at Hillside Rusto
@rottersgarage where are you racing?
I put on a 300’ dirt drag in Yorkville IL called the OTJA’s Jalopy Jaunt Sept 13 & 14
Typical marketplace sellers, it's always peachy, then comes the punch line 🙄
She's in good hands now. Cheers
Race car!!
