This looks wonderful ,creative and note to Darlingtons railway heritage ,way back in the 60,s I remember visiting Darlington locoshed and a sneaky look at the still active locoworks and sadly the scrap line ,a place of desolation ,so this to be celebrated just like Shildon North museum.
The grassy area in between the station and the carriage works would be a great place for one! Or at least a space for holding events with a temporary miniature line.
looks like a museum celebrating the power and technology of steam, and the amazing accomplishments of the A1 trust, love it!
A great addition to Darlington's railway heritage

Looks great! I enjoyed my visit last year and will look forward to visiting again.
What an amazing place it’ll be
Great design
Olton Hall?! will she be in the finished building?
I really want to see Tornado and Olton Hall in the same place that would be so cool
"Please note that the locomotives shown are for illustrative purposes only and do not represent what will actually be on display!"
Pity there is no allocated space to provide a miniature railway or sorts for a ride attraction.

Looks amazing, got an estimated time when it’s ready?

Looks really good, are exhibits going to be moved from York to here? Or are these reproductions?
Please read the note! There are already a number of exhibits at 'The Head of Steam' Museum.
