Late to comment, but I do hope David is still with us. Known him since University and am proud of his continued dedication to Steam Locomotion and these projects. My very best wishes to him and his family...💯🤞
Guys please stop complaining about this and that with the presentation. It’s not important. Well done everyone involved with this incredible project. Thank you David for your continued dedication and hard work.
I'm sorry but you are wrong sir. The musical noise in the background I found very annoying. What this gentleman had to say was very interesting but the so called music added nothing to it.
David is an incredible person with an incredible amount of knowledge, I wish him and his family the very best during this difficult time 😊🥰😊 Next time I'm up north i definitely will have to visit
Thanks to Steve, David, Ed and the whole A1/P2 team for arranging the day and for the terrific achievement of getting the new works into operation after so many challenges this year. Full steam ahead!
We all gather here because we all have steam in our blood and a fire in our hearts. A flame we wish to pass on from generation to generation. To revive dying skills and to be able to once again hear pistons pound the rails and whistles to echo through the valleys. To keep our heritage alive and make sure the birthplace of steam will forever keep its fire burning. I hope I'm not the only one who wishes to see steam fill the skies once more and the magic that once flowed through the rails return and let the new generations experience the history we will pour all our knowledge and skill into to keep alive.
Darlington Loco Works can be proud of their achievements, keep it up and I hope the Darlington council(s) play the came and just don't just turn up at the bun fights ? 👍👍👍
Really interested to listen to this gentleman but WHY OH WHY have you got that annoying music in the background. I want to hear him not the unwanted noise.
So difficult to hear what is being said over that bloody organ music! Please dispense with this next time - it really isn't necessary and is hugely distracting.
It wasn't chewing gum it's medication - the man is ill!! If you have ever had Chemo you would know! AND - The camera man is a volunteer - Shut up moaning!!

EXCELLENT work chaps. Love to see Steve and David smiling and happy with how things are going. Great stuff.

Fabulous Folks - Totally fabulous .. - I joined your group in 1990 - never looked back!
Good to see progress like this!
A nice little video. Sad to hear about David but he seemed to be a realist about it up until the end.
Congratulations Ed......
Well done all of you at Darlington...

It's comming home.
Difficult to identify the beautiful organ music because it was masked by all the chatter . . . . . . .
It's a cruel world when a brain dump is required but what a truly selfless idea.
PLEASE NO MUSIC - I QUIT THE CLIP AFTER 2 MINUTES -

Hi
Background music spoils the presentation.
Yea it’s like getting gas at the dentist!
The men snacking and chewing gum in the background ruins the presentation - who was in charge of the camera angles?
It wasn't chewing gum it's medication - the man is ill!! If you have ever had Chemo you would know! AND - The camera man is a volunteer - Shut up moaning!!
Why the awful dreary music? It made it seem more like a funeral than a celebration of a great achievement.
