I've always viewed same sex unions as a business arrangement. I can honor the partnership without belittling my beliefs or theirs by calling it marriage. Similarly my mother regarded marriages between elderly people who weren't making babies. I don't belittle the unmarried people. I think it's appropriate to treat the partnership partners with respect. Like any roommates or friends. I think governments should reword the marriage contract to remove the word marriage and have government only recognize partnership. Leaving marriage designation to the church. It may be useful to provide a designation for babies produced in wedlock but many matrimonial babies are not the groom's biological. So I can't call it.
How can you say same-gender marriage is not open to new life???? Lots of male and female couples have children and/or are raising children.
Worldwide youth is EWTN's idea to blame them for thweir crimes.

Pope Francis is a gift from the holy spirit to mankind. He is a living Saint and totally infallible. The Catholic church has to guarantee that whatever this living Saint teaches is generally accepted.
