The tornado ability would be much better if you could aim it vertically, i have seen that AI imps shoot it straight up and take a bunch of plants with it. Mech Tip: If you press the shrimp jump button as the mech ejects you the mech will fly forward a liitle.
This mech will have a much better time against chompers, because unlike the other mechs that needs to turn to aim their right side gun, the shrimp's aiming system is completely independant and have no blind spot, as demonstrated here at 7:18
After years of playing shrimp (as the first imp I unlocked) I´ve discovered that holding down any movement key when using the water cyclone will make it work.
i like these videos it helps me a lot to understand the characters and use them most effectively especially the parts where you mention the strengths and weaknesses
S.H.R.Imp: the "Sniper Class" of the Imps, with a smaller recoil and a Mech that's busted AF for movement and melting Plants on the far side of Jupiter

Does anyone still remember the times when we were shown concept art of different mechs like the shark, pharaoh, Zombot Wild Wagon and suburbia house mechs from a Live from Popcap livestream? It would've been fun to see those in the game as new variants.
I hopped online like 10 minutes after watching this video and in every game there was at least 3 of these things running around, at one point there was 6 of them. I dont know if its a coincidence or not, but if it isnt, the meta was just rebuilt by one singular video

Much worse. Since your sacrificing the powerful utility of goop, purely for increased raw damage… that probably won’t land directly very often. Chomp cannons decent, but it’s outclassed because of how much goop can do.

His mech is basically a sniper mech. Shrimp is easily my favorite of the Imps. I really like his design.
The shrimp used tornados, dashes , now hes noclipping just to show hows powerful he is.
