I agree with you but when white americans stop thinking they are The Superior Race then there will be real unity. Just think how how much better this country would be without Racism All considered equal. Until that happens there will still be protesting, rallies etc!!!
Isaiah 55:6-7 6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Recently, my neighbours house burnt down. We were there before the volunteers. Yes, we live in the countryside. They couldn’t put out the fire, due to low amounts of working hydrants. It was an all call, and had to call in 4 different county Volunteer Tankers/engines and township companies. The house didn’t survive, and was more than 69 years old. It’s good to see that you city folk aren’t struggling with broken, and unmaintained hydrants. (No sarcasm.) Stay safe, and stay happy, and more to the emergency services. Also, asking a little favour. I’m gonna try to enter the Fire Academy, and I would like to ask. For Montgomery County, if you add a volunteer fire department, would you add a 1988 Ford C Pumper? If not, that’s fine. It would be nice to see one like my nearest Volunteer department has in service, that I hope to be on.
Jared Dory I understand what you are saying. And the timing/chaos that is going on at a scene. But what about proper placement of the rig? That goes back to knowing your equipment and scene size up. They could have always short jacked the driver side and left more room on the side where the ladder would be placed. Originally, I was just trying to be observant. But since you bring up life over property, I needed to respond with my side. Stay safe.
I apologize if this is a stupid question but we don’t have these multilevel brick multi apartments where I’m from so it’s why I’m asking..... When they have fires such as this do they instantly order everyone out of the building no matter what?? I mean for instance if they have a fire in an apartment of say the 38th floor do people on 3rd floor evacuate in these high rises or brick. Multi floor apartment homes??
No, if the fire isn’t on your floor you’re told to stay put. Only the apartments effected on the fire floor above and below would evacuate, but the construction of these apartments are built to contain the fire to the apartment which is why people are suppose to close the door behind them while leaving that way it’s contained to that apartment
Pops no problem and I understand, since the main nyc area is predominantly high rise apartments FDNY has this down to a tee, sometimes these fires are knocked down within seconds of arrival. The only time an apartment fire got really bad was a few summers ago a lightning strike set an entire roof on fire which prompt a 7 alarm and the whole building has to be evacuated. From what I remember the building is still vacant till this day
I'm a retired Ff from the UK (London Fire Brigade) but I need a Ff from FDNY to explain to me why you guys absolutely annihilate the windows when it comes to ventilating a building. In the UK we will open the windows smash them if we have to but you guys take it to a whole new level, you automatically destroy and wreck the window frame and you do it with a vengeance (LOL)......... why.
Don’t quote me on the because I’m not a ff..but I believe the theory is in case they have to bail out, the whole frame is out and no obstruction for them if they had to bail out
When the fire is out they might open windows. When the fire is still going they smash the windows because it's faster. Besides lots of windows won't operate on these old buildings or don't open at all by design so they have to be broken
Someones don't like me to be known by the people surrounding me. I am not sinned where people don't agree. I know who I am but people don't agree. People insist their ways to drag me down while I am on the streets. These are politics. Although I have a part of supernatural to be responsible for, I am not lost. To Police and Fire fighters.
Why don't you state specific reasons why this video doesn't impress you? Were you at the scene? Were you on the fire floor? Do you have first hand knowledge of the conditions, layout, manpower, building fire equipment (standpipes, fire pump, elevators, entry, egress, etc?) If you don't have constructive feedback, shut your mouth Or help out in a positive way.
Showdown, what major urban Fire Department are you employed by? What is your current rank, and how many years experience do you have in heavy urban Firefighting?
Being a Firemen should be the highest paying job in the country. What they do is absolutely incredible!!! God Bless all Firemen around the world!!!
Nice to see the construction workers helps first! Good job by FDNY bros.
God bless the FDNY the best in the world
Heroes!
Vented out the windows, smoke change and sirens in the back ground HELL YEAH!!! Rock n roll brothers

Excellent job FDNY ! Anyone else focused on that AC unit ? All I kept thinking was that thing is gonna drop and I hope nobody is below it .
Thanks for the audio. Never get to hear it. Great fireground action too.

Us lot worse cox there's no hydrant
Godspeed on your endeavors for the fire service. I'm sure you'll be happy on any truck/engine you're assigned to.
Yeah FDNY policy is to arrive in 3 mins once the call has been dispatched
Thanks for the footage
Brooklyn getting it done good job
From the UK, a good job.
Great Put Down!
That's so big!

That fire is large
Do FDNY ladder trucks have waterways?
The Tower Ladders do, and the Aerials have the capability to put a hose up the ladder and operate it if needed.
What does the s/c stand for in the assignments?
"Special call(ed)" ...meaning they were not due to respond, but the incident commander requested them
Wonder if that vehicle was dented by the rear stabilizer? 4:16
It appears that it did in fact dent the shit out of the car...like its all up in that shit😂
Mark Pang life over property. Use piece of 1m+$ rig to move a car enough to save lives.
It looks like the jack is like a cm short of touching the car. Operator might of short jacked it or got lucky that the outrigger just hardly fit.

the driver of the ladder would bear full responsibility for this and the amount would be recovered from him - the Czech fire brigade (HZS)

Make a door out of the window in case you need to get out… windows are cheaper than your life

What's the point of a ladder up there doing nothing???
Nothing ? What if someone comes bailing out ? So many "what if's." It's good to be ready.
