Park Hyo Shin is a legend in South Korea and probably in many other countries too. He is the best of the best, known for his unique voice colour, impeccable vocal technique and control. You can rarely find a singer as emotive as he is . Apart from being incredibly famous he also stars in many musicals . This guy is a "God-tier" level artist.
In Korea, the last (family) name is said first, so it would be Mr Park. Hyo Shin would be his given name. It is not the same as first and middle name as in English. Almost all Korean last names are one syllable and the given names two syllables. Of course some people shorten their names to one syllable but it would be equivalent to someone named TONY going by TO or NY. The R sound is soft and it is pronounced more like Pak (ah sound like British accent). As to Park Hyo Shin's perfectly clear diction as you commented at 8:15, I would agree with you that it really stands out and is probably due to his interest in musical theater. He is not just performing a song but rather acting out a part in which everything he says must be clearly heard as if spoken. Great reaction btw!
I'm korean.🇰🇷
Thank you for the reaction.👍❤
He is my favorite singer.
His live performances are also great. I recommend it.😁
