I have never seen such a good clear description of parts of the heart and what to expect. Easy to understand, did you know you're also a great teacher? Thanks doc.

Thanks Doc. This was super helpful. I just got an Echo yesterday and got the report back with all the data... (which of course I did not understand). Then I just got a note back from my doc that basically said there was nothing to be concerned by... without providing any additional level of detail. At least, now, having watched this... I can at least have a bit more intelligent discussion with my doc about the results and actually kinda sorta likely understand what he's talking about... thanks to watching your video. Thanks again, doc.

Funny, I just had a Echo yesterday also, 7-20-2023. I haven't heard back from my doctor but the report didn't flag any problems. So I guess we're good to go.

Very helpful. Thanks. It would waste my doctors time to run me thru the general basics. Now I will skip the 101 level questions and get right to my particular problem. Thanks again.

My echo indicated a 7.2cm aorta at the root. I flew back to the US & checked into emergency ward 2 days later.
I do the test annually now to follow the repairs done.

Thank you this was very helpful because I have an appointment to go over my results and I don’t know why I would try to read it as if I’m a doctor and I would know what it means smh. 😂

Very helpful. Clear and concise. Not sure if anyone can answer: LVFS 28.8 9/27. 6/21 was 43.5% does this decrease value represent a decrease in function? while I see the range can be 45% to 28 on the lower level. the change for me from 43.5 to 28.8 is a change. I am thinking that because the decrease still fall into the " normal range" its not taken as serious on an indiviudal case basis....does anyone have thoughts on this question. Many thanks.

I'm in the uk...I had a echo test last year , I got a letter saying my test was normal and I'm being referred back to my doctor...I've asked for a copy of my results and was told they'll be posted but nothing came through. It's like they don't want me to see the results.

There's a doctor here that says as the heart opens and closes they can estimate E.F. see the video by York cardiology. So its just an estimate from what I learned watching his videos.
