  • Coco a. Lynge talks about her journey of becoming an concept artist intern at the Danish Visual Development Studio MOOD, as well as her experience as a children's book illustrator and fashion designer. Her portfolio has a range of styles from more stylized to the more realistic style she's needed to adopt at MOOD. Plus she's one of the few people who can pronounce my name correctly so that's always a bonus in my book.

Thank you for doing these interviews! These are really inspiring to listen to as I start my journey into being a concept artist. It’s nice to listen to recent struggles for artist just getting in and not senior (10+years) artist talking about when they got in years ago.

So glad you are feeling inspired! I was also tired of listening to super experienced people and couldn't find interviews like this, so I decided to make them myself. I see why they aren't as common now though, surprisingly hard to get in touch with less experienced artists.

    What a positive & unique interview--wow!
Being from Canada, I've seen plenty of traditional Inuit art in my life, but I have never heard of an Inuit or Greenlandic concept artist before, & embarrassingly enough, I didn't even know that Greenlandic Danes made up a significant portion of Denmark's population before doing a little research afterward; very informative. Coco's goals & energy are wonderful.

Thank you for the podcast and the interviews. I've only listened to this one and one other but feeling super inspired. Especially hearing about an intern at 30!
I'm starting out at 30 as well. Haven't seen or heard of any African concept artists yet. Hoping to be one of the firsts one day.

That's super inspiring! Best of luck to you, and I would love to hear from African concept artists as well. Yinfaowei Harrison is a Nigerian artist who was recommend to me by Emilie Vaccarini-Francis. :)
