Here is my FS video memory- My kiddo was a few weeks old, and liked sleeping on my chest, so I would put my headphones in, and binge T90 videos, legend of Fat Slob was one of the first ones I found. I'll probably always think of your videos when I think of those early days of parenthood. Very special to me!
Funny, it was some 3 or 4 years ago now I was avoiding this channel because YT kept suggesting this "fatslob" guy and it seemed immature to me 😂. One day I finally cracked and was like, "okay fine!" Just seeing fatslob treb through trees and walls alike brought me back to being 8 years old and throwing in the age of conquest CD into the computer. "You can wall, but I'll make 'em fall." Such good times! Dial up was rough so there was never any multiplayer beyond LAN parties. But even those LAN parties were awesome. So much nostalgia in a single match. Fatslob knows how to fatslob and how to beat his own strategy. The fact that he just won without placing a single piece of wall against a poor imitation of himself is simply wonderful :D

His play style is disgusting. But the thin about this guy is that he plays bf vikings war for 20 years. Everybody wanted to play this guy even the pros. A true legend
Fatslob is the ultimate memento mori for me. Man does what he loves, what he's always done, and even though that journey must end one day, that joy that he brings us is comforting and encouraging. And hell, I never thought I'd see the man play settings that weren't 1v1 Vikings, so perhaps it's a good reminder of our capacity for growth and change even well into the future. The first Fatslob video was the first video of yours that I watched completely and enjoyed so much! Then followed by his match with Viper and that got me into consuming your content very regularly. Fatslob reminds me of my dad a lot :D Still playing on our old Conquerors CD!! No matter how many times I offer to share my steam so that he could play the new campaigns, he always declines and goes on to play 1v3 Hardest AI with Britons on 100 pop limit.
A fatslob thumbnail brought me to this channel and i stayed for T90s casting... after boredom one day led me to try look up if there was any aoe games on YT, that day led me to discover 3 of my favorite aoe personalities being first ofcourse fatslob himself, loving that game and Tristans epic casting ofcourse made me click the next video where the aoe God Viper stunned me with the greatest plays and to this day still amazes me. Probably over 100 hours of content watched by this point and cant wait to see what 2024 brings to the community. Thanks Tristan, Merry Christmas. This channel and Fatslob truly do remind me of the good ole days of college. Nothing felt better to me during a rough week in class to get come of my meager funds to get me a good meal from Chipotle and sit down to laugh and watch or rematch a video. Now. I'm currently watching this video overseas for the service and away from friends and family so I'm equally a little bit nostalgic and sad, but I guess that means when I come home next year I'll just need to make good on that tradition again and maybe play some Age of Conquerors too :)

Been looking forward to this game for months! Fatslob is SUCH a unique player I'm always excited to see a game from him and what he'll do. I really admire that he still plays the game and found a way to play that he likes and has stuck to it all this time. There's a lot to be said about finding *your* thing that you seemingly enjoy more than anything else and the comfort or happiness that it brings you and it brings me happiness to see a game from Fatslob doing what he enjoys.
Strange for a person who has been playing for so long that he didn't go with one treb to scout where the forest is thinnest and destroy it there, but keeps the trebs at home and destroys "his own" trees with them. Equally, I think he should have immediately started demolishing the walls with rams and not catapults and would have broken through much sooner (especially if he had used the trebs to see in which direction to demolish the walls and not waste time on concentric demolition).
I am relatively new to this channel. It randomly popped up on my front page one day a few weeks ago. I used to play the living heck out of this game back when it was new and for a few years since its original release. I've fond memories back when you used to have to go through MSN Gaming Zone for game lobbies lol. It's amazing this game still has an audience today and I've dabbled in the DE recently (only against the AI since I'm likely to get clobbered against any human opponent lol).

My fondest memory of FatSlob is he was the first video of yours that I watched, which made me remember a game I hadn’t played since it was new. I missed Fatslob games and also I missed so much the old graphic and sounds, every sound I heard brought back so many memories when I used to play as a kid on my Ps2 this game and always end up with a 2 vs 2 with the ai, playing the same map and the same tactic over and over but those were good times :D
I'm an immigrant, and so is my wife. We don't get to spend Christmas with family, so we came up with our own little traditions, both individual and as a couple. I can only close out my year now if I see the Fatslob xmas special haha it just ties my year up in a bow and I get to unwrap it as a gift. I love it. I do hope he never stops, you never stop, we never stop.

I'm an immigrant, and so is my wife. We don't get to spend Christmas with family, so we came up with our own little traditions, both individual and as a couple. I can only close out my year now if I see the Fatslob xmas special haha it just ties my year up in a bow and I get to unwrap it as a gift. I love it. I do hope he never stops, you never stop, we never stop.
