Is there a way of having an object spin around like a police light and adding an alarm claxon to it so when a character gets near it, the object with the police light effect has the claxon wail louder and then fades away when the character passed it.
Personally i will be sticking with code because i find it easier to make things do exactly what you want with it. However this looks like a great way for people who’s not into coding to make a game.

That might trigger an action such as gates to a fortress shutting. This would be a good effect for when your character is running for shelter towards a community fortress to evade attack from zombies. It's bases on an artificial island surrounded by a moat. So after the character is permitted into the fortified grounds, the draw bridge comes up and the zombies stop at the edge. That is until a threshold has been reached that provoked ghe zombies in the front to fall into the moat with sharp spikes unders the water.

I suggest that for buildbox 3.0 make a wake up colourful light... just an idea to make the graphics more interesting

Great! Just an idea, is to release a few videos of some new functions, features (Logic, Effects, Actions, etc..) and how to access (and give cool visual samples of what they can do) them from the new menu systems. Hopefully before the release of BB3.
Funny that Buildbox says its free but you have to pay of it, then its free if you ask for a refund witin 15 days. I feel that even if you had 30 days free its still not enough time to learn all the Logic and Effects, that the BB has to offer.

Huh I never heard of Build Box. Being a pretty avid coder I don't think it is for me. It seems like it has a lot of potential for non-coder game designers, though.
