- Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan was a renowned classical Urdu and Persian poet of the subcontinent. Most notably, he wrote several ghazals during his life, which have since been interpreted and sung in many different ways by different people. He is considered to be the most dominating poet of the Urdu language.

Its 2020. Thanks to youtube algorithm I am watching this video and ohh God the memories it has brought back. I started my university back in 2003 and a friend gave me dvd of this serial. Good old days. I wish I could somehow go back to that time 😭

Mirza Ghalib had a very unique sense of being poetic. He puts a lot of questions in his poetry (quite sarcastically), exactly what we see Sant Kabir doing in his Dohas. This is why Mirza Ghalib was also considered as one the great philosophers of his time.
Sahab Kabir is like someone who has lived the entirety of time I was digging down the rabbit hole of UA-cam and came accross Farid Ayaz conversation on Kabir. I guess we all need to see life from multiple prospectives, we need cross pollination of philosophies and ideas.

Deevan.. It should be written from alphabat in Urdu ...alif.. to aaeay.. Shair ending in these alphabats..it starts praising Allah. ..then prophet..

I remember when i was in class 7 probably 12 years old i guess...i watched this movie with one of my czn and she explained me the whole movie coz i wasn't able to understand any word .. yesterday she again send me this clip and I'm nostalgic really want to watch this movie once again.. Everytime i meet her we goes like bana hai shahh ka musahibb and the whole thing goes on we laugh and remember that memory ..Now I'm a university student. Ghalib is a legend and will always be💜

Urdu is one of the most sweetest language and everyone must understand it before passing on a judgement on Urdu.
