i stuck through it all and yes it definitely was worth it in the end, i really loved this season and ending as a whole
The quad relationship of Archie Jughead Betty and Veronica reminded me of the Archie comics where Archie couldn't make up his mind and went out with Betty and Veronica 😂😂
Well, this was more than just a guy dating 2 girls simultaneously.
The cast are probably celebrating their freedom from this show
I haven't seen anyone post a dedication in any of their socials. At least the main pipz.
I actually struggeld through all episodes and just finished this final one and damn I admit that I couldn't keep the tears from coming when learning about how they all ended up. Loved how they roped in both timelines at the end and how they gave Jughead - as the narrator of the whole series - the final spotlight. But I'm still glad it's over. This show was one hell of a ride!
And on the filling in part: Just the episode before good old angel Tabitah comes in, shows Jughead and most of the others everything. But only Jug and Betty decide to keep all the memories while everyone else just wants to keep the good ones, so these two are the only ones who remember everything^^
I also quit Riverdale in season 4. I came back for season 7 when I found out it was going to be a reboot. Worth it. Almost as good as season 1. I recommend you do check out season 7. I'm not sure if I'll go back and finish seasons 4, 5 & 6. The stories were just way too not even remotely believable sci-fi, kind of like what ruined the last seasons of Sabrina.
Season 6 is in my opinion the best one. The writing is actually crazy good imo

What's so great about S6? Isn't that when they are all adults & haven't kept in touch with each other but are reunited to work undercover as teachers at the school? I saw a clip showing B teaching a class in auto mechanics. I thought that was way cool. But you probably are a Barchie fan & that's why you like S6. You are the first person I've seen say that they liked it.@@DiamondFire
Wasn't there a lot of the supernatural & sci-fi stories with superpowers, aliens, time travel, portals, etc. in the later seasons, too, though? It wasn't just in S3 that there were ridiculous storylines! The series jumped the shark but then just kept on jumping sharks. The S7 reboot was a way to start over & not have to deal with all their shitty writing from the previous 6 seasons. @@DiamondFire
@@DonnaBrooks well no. Season 6 ended the main timeline BC they all died. Season 7 is like an AU epilogue where they get their memories back at the end.
6 is the best written season, followed by 1 for sure

Watch 5, Rivervale, 6 and 7 tbh. Its a campy vibe
A lot of people hated when they got superpowers, but I loved that season. It was for me the perfect balance between riddiculous and entertaining, but taking that into account, "the epic highs and lows" the series had were indeed either too good or too bad. I'd say the most consistent element of this last season was Betty, I felt like it was her show instead of Archie, she was great all season. They also introduced the most annoying Riverdale character ever in Cheryl's new brother, and when Archie punched him in the face was the best moment of the season up until that point.

Well, they had ALL of them AND none of them! They all had a romantic & sexual relationship, but they all parted ways & no combination of the Core 4 was endgame. I do think they were trying to avoid committing to endgame pairings for these 4 because they didn't want to deal with the hate from the people who didn't get their couple.
I really loved the ending ❤ and yes.. I stuck with Riverdale.. the whole crazy ride..it was fun!

I was hoping that they would show footage of Luke Perry as a tribute to him in the finale. Other than that, the finale was fine.
I watched all seven seasons, even when it got really bad, and I thoroughly loved this finale. It seemed so appropriate to have it end with them being forever 17, living happily in Riverdale, just like the comics have been for the last 80+ years. 😊

They are going to be sitting in a diner drinking milkshakes FOR ETERNITY?! No thanks. I also noticed those smiles of the Core 4 in the diner. [ETA: Archie's smile was particularly creepy. Also, I thought Betty always drank a VANILLA milkshake, so why did he say they ordered her favorite,- strawberry?] It had a surreal feeling to it. I also would have thought there would be more excitement to finally have Betty join them! But it seemed to be a bigger reunion w/ Cheryl & Toni, Kevin, & Reggie! So that seemed anti-climactic.

Season 7 felt like the perfect finale for this show. Seasons 5 &6 were ok. There were sonme good things in it. But season 5 and 6 were messy and season 7 just felt so much better and it felt like the writers were really trying to make the perfect finale. I personally really enjoyed season 7.

You can skip the other seasons. Season 7 is a reboot. The characters are quite different from the other 6 seasons. Even if you decide to go back & start where you left of, I recommend you watch S7 first. Watching S7 out of order from the other seasons won't matter. Also, the way Roberto writes for shock value & then just drops events as if they never happened means that you could just go back & watch particular episodes, like Cheryl doing insane shit like stalking Josie, setting her own house on fire, threatening her mom in the hospital, keeping her dead brother's corpse in the basement, & joining a cult. Just an average season in Riverdale from S3 thru S6. The point is that there is no continuity so you could literally look for one particular episode that might answer a question. There are so many insane plot devices that are just used to have a reason for Archie to be shirtless, even if the situations he's in make no sense for the character and do nothing for character development! The same goes with the sex scenes, etc. It's a show more concerned with looking good that being good. They have an attractive cast whom they exploit by putting them into adult sexual situations. Good storytelling is not the reason people watch Riverdale.

Nope haha. Haven’t watched since beginning of season 4, which I say in vid 😉. Seemed like none of what happened in season 7 ultimately mattered from watching just the last episode.
