Canadians are raised to not hate and to embrace diversity (including being taught this in all daycares/schools). People need to look at all sides.
India has a 29% unemployment rate amongst it's own graduates. One of the big reasons why young people are leaving India in droves. Plus less than 50% of the 950 million working-age population in India is employed (compared to over 70% in other emerging markets). Amongst the Indian working group, many are self-employed and contain “unpaid helpers in family enterprises”. India has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. As many zero in on education as a way to gain access to a western country?
Did international students/families pay into Canadian taxes all their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No. Plus Canada did NOT tell international students/parents to spend/risk their life savings on a "Canadian dream". Canada did NOT tell international students to borrow money. Canada did NOT promise international students work. Canada did NOT promise international students money. Canada did NOT promise international students PERMANENT RESIDENCY.
Meanwhile freelance agents have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Often by painting a distorted picture of what students can receive from Canada. Plus in recent years, a new type of recruitment has cropped up via foreign nationals as many "edu-tech" have created online platforms to connect millions of potential students with the recruiters. The sub-agents have absolutely no no direct connection with the Canadian college. Plus the college has no no ability to control their conduct. Indian sham operations abused/abusing Indian students in person &/or via massive advertising. Primarily in their native language that most Canadians do NOT understand. Painting a false picture in their minds (of what Canada could or would or should offer).
Canadians are seeing primarily Indians protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands. Because they may not have enough credentials to remain in Canada? And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires? Why isn't there crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students making demands? They're in Canada too.
And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but likely will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students.
Canada's own youth are also victims of the above mentioned scam artists now too. Due to a SEVERE lack of homes and SEVERE lack of entry level jobs now partially due to international students swarming the system then fighting for PR etc., versus returning home. Including some students asking for Canadian asylum (which RARELY gives them PR).
    Questions:
⦁ What is India doing about any of this? After Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting. Many Indians keep saying their politicians are corrupt. True? Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Coincidence? Schools that Canada is shutting down.
⦁ What about all the YT videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a product? Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very very rare input from Canadian-born citizens.
⦁ What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies?
⦁ What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages?
⦁ What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals? Some home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Often these 'landlords' also cram 20 students in a small home and charge them each way too much for rent.
⦁ What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then repeatedly putting Indians only in the top tier positions (while also changing familiar work practices)? BC & Ontario are also outlawing the Caste System.
⦁ What about the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada? Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) even though it all stems from their ancestral home. Why?????????????
⦁ What about the Canadian government launching investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent? Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border.
Canadians are so so so not used to all this!! Do Indians care about Canadians suffering too?
Or do they primarily want to point fingers at the Canadian government etc., when many things weren't in Canada's control?
Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).
PS Immigration being decreased in: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, The Maritimes, Alberta, Saskatchewan, & Manitoba.

Why is Immigration tied to Education? Under the guise of work and student visas makes you entitled to stay in Canada? Because you want to "temporarily study and work" here, you should be able to bring your families (chain migration) with you?
How many people in Canada are on expired visas?
As of Feb 2, 2024, the amount of people in Canada on expired visas is estimated to be over 100,000. The estimated number of undocumented immigrants in Canada are 300000 - 600000 thousand.
In 2021, federal spending per year on deportations jumped to more than $48 million as 7,522 people were removed from Canada. In 2022 there were 10,222 deportations costing more than $52 million, and in 2023, some 16,205 people were deported at a cost of $62 million.
Canadian businesses can apply for grants and receive $5000-$10,000 to supplement employment of "immigrant students". That reduces job availability to 'Resident Canadians' and Canadian's cover the cost to be unemployed? Driving up unemployment and housing costs on an already stressed system without, consideration for the people of Canada.
Your putting the cost of your entitlement on Canadian Tax Payers and calling us Racist and Hateful?

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  Місяць тому +1

Education is not directly tied to immigration - when you graduate, you need to meet the qualifications and skills before you get nominated for PR. You don’t just get PR as you graduate - but yes I agree with you no one is entitled here to become PR you need to posses some skills, education, and professional license to work in the field. For unemployment, are we not understaffed at the hospitals? and don’t we need more young electricians and welders? Get those jobs, I mean the problem is not all Canadians are qualified to perform the job. Not all are willing to go back to school, and do the dirty job. Although the grants for “immigrants students” is interesting, as far as I know most grants when hiring employees are for Canadian PR or Citizen.
At the end of the day, we need to be reminded that we all came here as immigrant (unless you’re first nation), no is entitled here, let’s stop blaming our misfortune to fellow immigrants, and lets be all kind! ❤

I could say if your 40 yrs old and up I would advice not to study as international student. It’s too late to get your status. If you live contently in your home country and have sufficient money to cover your necessities that’s totally fine. Also Canada’s economy is collapsing. I was here 15 yrs ago and I can see the economy is going down and bad!

I became Canadian citizen, and came here as international student 16 years ago. What infuriating me is the new Canadians complain about immigrants when them selves were immigrants and took the same pathway as current international students. Whoever being racist toward you, remember they have failed in their life and want to blame others for their failure. Life is not easy in general, especially in Canada, work harder and you will find what you seek whether there is many immigrants or not.

How about you teach mass migrators how to build a home during a housing CRISIS, versus teaching them how to compete with lifelong Canadians for the few that exist now?
How about you teach mass migrators how to CREATE new jobs for Canada's youth. While they struggle to compete with foreign nationals to find their first ever CANADIAN job.
Can you assist with overcrowded health-care at Canadian hospitals?
Are u teaching international students that Canadian PR is a very big maybe? And go home (by a certain date) means go home (by a certain date). Only a certain % can stay.

The problem started when students coming from India to study but didn’t take any good courses there main aim was the get pr. In such a short time we had so many new comers so fast. Way is study.Visa tide to pr . If you are studying after your studies u should go back . Because if these many International students abused the system. So know there is so much hate for them there is more racism. Don’t take advantage of Canada’s hospitality. . Trudeau has ruined Canada with its over immigration through study visa . Once your study is finished you go back to your home country but most don’t . And know they are being told to go back .hate amongst the Indian community has gotten worse and lots of Indians that have been lining in Canada 40 or more years even they find it annoying. That students are abusing the system . Canada needs to close its doors to immigrants for a few years

Everybody is dealing with no jobs and rising house prices and the presence of IS exacerbated this so you can’t blame if people from here whether new or old immigrants wants to have a cap on immigration. Apply through the legal channel to immigrate just like we did before with control on number of immigrants per year so that there is no backlash. I think the most reasonable advice is to finish in Philippines a degree in health care, Engineering or STEM field then get work experience then apply here as skilled worker as the climate of acceptance of Is and temporary foreign worker has dimmed with racist undertones now and the citizens are in uproar to start capping stopping influx right away
