Really wonderful thoughts! I especially love the idea of “learning to love”. My hope for my two young kids is that they’ll learn the value of the wonder you’re describing. You also are a fantastic read-alouder! Thanks for sharing!!
This was a "wonder"ful video. I think we all understand you and your channel just a little bit more, now. It will be a fun month watching your channel related videos. ❤️❤️❤️
These thoughts resonate with me so much. I feel like every point about Wonder that you covered is something I've been pondering a lot lately, trying to get a better grasp on. Thanks for putting them together and articulating them so well!
I'd love to have a cup of coffee ☕ with you haha! Thank you for giving us something to think about....it is all too easy to get caught up in the day to day busyness. Time for reflection is so important. Books take us places we cannot always go! Happy reading 📚📖
There's a scene in Narnia, I think it's Voyage, where something happens, and it says that none of the kids would talk about it except Lucy, and all she'd say is that it'd break your heart. The narrator asked her, "Why, was it so sad?" She'd say, "Sad? No!" And that was all she would ever say about it. That feels like the idea you're talking about.
Yess Amanda Dykes is masterful at evoking a sense of wonder!!!
My favorite thing about her!
Excellent, excellent, excellent! The hymn 'How Great Thou Art' I think fits this topic perfectly.
You are right! What a wonderful hymn, I love that one, and it does express the sentiment very well.
This was thoughtful and a true insight into Anne the person, the wife, the mother, and the educator. Thank you for sharing ❤😊
Aww thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
I like the idea of “pondering.” And I love the name of your channel! This was a great video. Very unique and intriguing!

Loved this!! Out of all the channel names out there yours is my favourite!

Oh I love that! I don't think I read that particular Narnia (don't shoot me! 😆)
Such great thoughts! I think you've mentioned the Gettys before; have you heard their song "Don't Let Me Lose My Wonder"?
Yes! I've toyed with the idea of using it as my intro/outro music but I'm not sure about copyrights...
