Im fasting for a job this year, been unemployed for the past 2 years and yet i have all the qualifications and experience. I go for interviews but never get the job as they seem to take someone internal. So im believing God in this 21 days of fasting, im from South Africa and I know that this year God will perform miracles in my life
I did the Daniel fast beginning of 2019 believing for a job as I was unemployed since 2017. I received a call for an interview in April of 2020 but that was cancelled and the position was frozen due to Lockdown because of the pandemic. But in November of 2020 I was called again for the interview and im happy to report that I got the job and I started in February of 2021. Thanks so much for all the prayers and support. It took a while but the job came with so many benefits and it was a better position than the one that i had initially applied for, so God's timing is always perfect and He always gives us more than what we asked for . I have struggled with depression and suicide for a while resulting from the death of my elder brother. But with prayer and fasting ( I fast two days every week ) , I have started to notice that I laugh a lot lately and there is unending hope and joy in my spirit. My faith has also shot up. I no longer doubt God and I have fallen deeper in love with him. Fasting with prayer are great tools. I encourage you to do it too.
I have fasted several times in my life. On two occasions I have gone three days without food and water. Everything I listed down and prayed for, it all was manifested into reality except one. I am glad that God answer my prayers but I think this one that is not yet answer is the most crucial one that I really desired. I was so tired of praying about that one thing until in 2018 I decided not to overwhelm myself over that topic again. And it still didn't happen. So now 2019, I am now on 40 days and by the special grace of God, I pray he here and answer my prayer about this. Amen I need divine settlement.

Yes, God has promised me from His word and I am waiting on Him while doing my part. I am encouraged not to lose hope but believe Him who has promised that the vision will come to pass. I started this year fasting, first for 7days and alongside reading a bible plan on fasting which is for 21 days, and thought to myself that if God will lead me then I will do a total of 21 days fasting. After 7days, there was a break as I got under the weather and then fasted 3days. After listening to your message it felt like God is prompting me to continue fasting for total of 21 days. I had a dream last month about being a police inspector for which is my childhood's dream. I am fully submissed to God, I have experienced 2 short 48 hours dry fast and have already experienced dramatic change of clarity. I am trying to go for a 14 or 21 days water fast and hope God will guide me through the road. I bow you at the feet of Jesus, my King of Lord!

You are so right, Pastor Franklin I am receiving more clarity, while fasting, I read Luke 6:27-36 and I was shocked to see something that I had missed before. In Luke 6:30 "Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. " I just never remember reading not to demand or desire or ask for what was stolen- back. So, I had to repent for I walked around angry for people stealing from me and demanding it back. Lack of knowledge leads people to perish. So, to finish the chapter I found a blessing attached to not desiring your stolen stuff back. And here it is...Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be called the children of the Most High because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. I want to be like Jesus and Pastor Franklin who shows love to those who treat him poorly, recognizing that they are wicked and ungrateful, but choosing in God's strength to love them anyway. I'm from Hong Kong, and I just finished a 40 days liquid fast on the new year's eve, because i had dreams telling me 2019 is important to me. And I NEVER think of entering another fast so soon. But somehow I hear the Lord asked me to fast for my grandma's salvation before the Chinese New Year on the coming Feb. So I started a 21 days liquid fast on 11 Jan 2019 (same day with this video was posted!). And I was thinking to myself maybe "2019 is the year of fasting" just before I saw this video! And OMG! This video confirmed me it was God speaking and asking me to fast, and 2019 is really the year of fasting!

I did this fasting becuse I wanted my marriage restored. God still working on my restoration but I got baptized in Holy tongues
