Thank you for the video. I have one question, When I start from the hang, I'm able to bring the bar very close to the body and go under, but when I start from the floor, for whatever reason, I end up swinging my arms way out front. Could you explain what I'm doing wrong? Am I just being scared or something else? Thank you
Do u guys have a video on how to keep ur weight back on the clean and if not will u guys make one it'd be greatly appreciated and thanks for the videos
Is this video discussing the olympic snatch and grab- or the power clean. I recognize the snatch grab deadlift being described and performed yet when the other movements are being performed, their names are not vocalized.
What are you talking about... why don't you do a simple Google search to answer your question? You pull the bar up to your shoulders (front squat position) in a clean. What he is doing (pulling it overhead) is a snatch.
Great video coach. One suggestion: To raise more funds from your athletes, you might want to produce premium content that could be behind a paywall. I'm sure a lot of you would support you with a subscription, if the price was right. People could even upload their own vids to get them analyzed, if you have the capasity for it. I haven't looked too much around your website, so please forgive me if this is already incorporated.
Jump and catch is not a very good description. This is what high school coaches use to teach an non-olympic lifters. This guy is swinging the bar too much due to that hip bang which is not as efficient as a normal s curve acceleration (with a hip "brush").
Such a great Channel, many thanks from a trainee-coach from germany :)

super helpful!
So from position two to the power position, you shouldn't focus on bringing the hips forward rather the chest up?
Yes
Does this mean you jump through the heel, or push off the toes just at the last phase of the triple extension?
It truly is all bout technique
can someone help with my technique because i have problems with using my hips in the snatch
More so doing Drop Snatches and Snatch Balances.
The kid in the back with the white shirt made me cringe when he put the bar down.
To raise more funds FOR your athletes I meant. ;)
row
Hang snatches, snatches from blocks, basically forcing yourself under the bar.
