Junior position you’d be looking at 30-45k depending on location. With some experience mid level 45-70k. Depends on the industry you’re in heavily also. Recently I’ve been contacted by recruiters for positions over 6 figures
@@techtoby_ Cool. As this is a career transition for me. It is both honest yet cheeky to ask this next question. For a dedicated individual who works hard and commits to the process, what is the common timeframe for this progression ladder? And what would the differences in job role/responsibilities be for each of the mentioned stages/jobs be? (An idea for your next video?) Thanks mate.
Responsibility between junior and mid level isn’t that different, junior will just be expected to require more support. A senior would spend more time on delivery and designing. I left my first cloud engineer job after 11 months and currently at my new company for 13 months
@@omarkhan1543I was never Junior because I was already experienced from being an infrastructure engineer prior to working on cloud. I entered my first cloud role at mid level
What would you say the uk job market is like? For someone willing to relocate cities. For entry level boot camp trained cloud engineers?
