The Scout/speeder bike combo is literally a MUST HAVE and surprisingly still readily available 🤨
Love the weathering on this guy. The engineering on the boot to give us that huge ankle rocker/hinge range is really impressive.

Even as just a straight up scout trooper on a bike, this is a great piece. Getting grogu with it, etc, is just a bonus. I wanna use this to give me a ROTJ vibe

I keep going back and forth on this. Your video keeps coming up and I am going to pull the trigger. I am mainly getting this for photography as I think with the weathered look and some outside environments, this piece will shine under the right conditions. Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but you are wrong on the knee pads.
They are correct placed for the Mandalorian version. You can see a close up at the 2:00 min mark in season 1 episode 8 the Redemption. It clearly shows them as they are on the figure. Perfectly molded and weathered identically.
Also, the gun is correct as they use two fingers inside the trigger area. (Probably why they don't hit a thing) lol.

No. This is correct to The Mandalorian which is what I said. In the show the knee pads are reversed as compared to ROTJ when the scout troopers first appeared.
Do you think its too heavy to place in a detolf or glass cabinet
It's slightly too long to fit inside a regular detolf sadly, you could place it ontop however

This Speeder Bike with Biker Scout set is a 1/6 scale Star Wars collection centerpiece. And I also have Boba on his throne, Maul on his bike and the Emperor...
I'd lean more towards the ROTJ version (because nostalgia) but the deco is nothing short of spectacular and the Biker Scout scene from Mando Season 1 is memorable.
It is a centrepiece for sure!

I saw this release in a couple of other UA-cam reviews and to be frank, the bike looked a little cheap and underwhelming. In this review, however, it looks like something you don't want to miss. Both the figure and bike look top-notch and high quality.
As for the review, the best way to describe it would be comprehensive and all-encompassing. You get everything you could ever ask for, including the comparison with Sideshow's offering and the recreation of scenes from the show. Congratulations Justin, this is one of the best reviews you've ever done!

Great review, and thanks for the comparison with the Sideshow version. Something we've all been waiting for. I have the SS scout and bike so only getting the Mandalorian scout trooper.

Trust me, get the Hot Toys version of the speeder bike, it is way superior to the Sideshow bike and the Jedi version should be just as good if not better.

Great detail from Hot Toys with the hands, The scout Troopers pistols are hold AND fired with two fingers on the trigger, the 1/6 scale Kenner power of the force figure AND the Jakks pacific Big Fig Scout Trooper also has the hand grabbing His pistol this way, I Guess Lucasfilm gave them production stills AND reference imagen with this detail

Maybe just me, but does anyone else think the Hot Toys Scout Trooper Helmet looks just a little bit goofy? I’m thinking its the fact that the helmet seems more narrow while the eyes seem taller? Still going to get two bikes though, great review!

I'm really impressed with the boots articulations, pretty creative, they should do that with more figures, I don't collect star wars figures (that would be a rabbit hole that I don't want to get into) but that biker scout looks awesome, better than SS and of course the bike is great!!

I'm still hoping Hot Toys makes a movie accurate scout trooper and tusken Raider. The Mandalorian ones both look cool but there's something missing from both figures. I'd love a Phantom Menace sniper tusken and or the lead Raider that attacks Luke. I'd love a female raiders to such a great design. But for both the sand people and scout trooper there are a lot of significant differences from the film versions to the Mandalorian versions.
We shall see! If not this is good enough for me!
@@JustinsCollection Tru dat. I'm debating. When it comes to OT Stormtroopers the scout trooper is my favorite. And I do love the weathering on this one. And I'm glad you can pull up his middle section, doesn't look right with all that black under suit bleeding through.

Hey excellent video justin, both the figure and vehicle look excellent. Hot Toys really nailed this trooper and it really seems to continue their trend of excellent design and construction on their figures that have come out so far. I was sold after SS reveal, but your video helped confirm I made good choice POing the Scout Trooper and Bike. Plus we all need more grogu in our day.

I was hoping to make this a RotJ Scout, but with the Sudakis "fat head" mod that Hot Toys did, I don't think that's possible.

@@JustinsCollection You're correct, it's not a huge issue, but I'm a lunatic when it comes to accuracy. It's an illness I suffer from. It's also my hobby. I enjoy taking 80% accurate Hot Toys figures to something approaching 100% accuracy, so I'm just complaining to hear the sound of my voice. LOL!
