Perfect explanation. I even feel sluggish when I workout directly after eating. I think most of us approach the eating/ workout equation from the mindset that we are getting rid of the food that we just ate aka burning the food up that we just consumed. Is why some folks cheat before working out. Like eating a doughnut just before working out. Not realizing that we are only using the immediate fuel source and not going into the reserve tank. Thank you.

That is how I usually work out. You just mentioned where I am. Not a diabetic, but I had issues with my pancreas; which also produced a high level of alcohol when I don't even drink at all except water. The doctors thought I told them a lie. It wasn't until several months after, I found out about that by someone who said non-alcoholic pancreas issues. All the while, it was insulin resistance. Thank you so very much for your loving sacrifice!

So I'm going to go back to working out fasting and see if I see the difference again. Most of the time I'm not even hungry when I go to the gym, but somewhere along the line I started believing I needed to eat something first.
Fasted workouts I did this in the past and found the muscle you build from this stay around longer then the other way around. I always introduced my body first to what it will be doing then gradually increase the time and intensity. I was at 3hr workouts.

Thank you! I am a workout extremist! I enjoy speed walking 10 miles and gym! I begin at 6:30am until 12:30 pm daily! I keep a check on my blood pressure and pulse as I workout! When I don’t eat until 1pm… I loose 3-4 pounds before I eat. Next morning I gain 3 pounds from salads and meats, and 1.5 gallons of water! When I eat breakfast and then workout I loose less weight and get hungrier during day! Conclusion is I AGREE WITH YOU! Your advise is best for my 6 hour daily workout!

He might not answer so i got an answer, if you’re doing weighted leg exercises, i’d wait an hour or two, then i’d do cardio to make sure your knees are rested before running because there is a lot of force and pressure that goes onto the knee when running, if you’re doing upper body workouts, you can do cardio before or after! 👍
I'm practicing on eating healthy and giving up meats,bread and dairy sweets also. But I did cut out sodas and strictly drinking water mostly and every so often sorrel juice but I do eat for 2-4 days and fast for 5-7 days regardless of eating healthy or not and I can tell the difference in my sugar levels it goes down even when I don't do anything and every other day I walk from 2-3 hours.
Dr. Price, im really interested to hear your opinions on the carnivore diet. Espeically because you preach plant based alot. I hear alot of conflicting things and would love for you to talk about it. Cheers!
