Baphomet is so weird on face value, and I would even argue is THE most misunderstood throughout history; this video will be so helpful and good and I can't wait! From what I understand personally Baphomet is a god of alchemy and fully neutral, only changing depending on what etheric energy systems you introduce into your practices with the deity. One could argue Baphomet has been tainted within the astral and the collective subconscious due to all the associations and because satanic people still benefit greatly from this entity, and so the misunderstanding arrives when we think that it cannot be used in good and ethical systems solely on this basis. However, I believe this isn't the case, and that working with Baphomet simply depends on what intentions you bring to it, as it seems it is neither good nor evil but an absolute neutral. So if you bring a lot of fear and trepidation into it beforehand because of bias or slander, it can very well mess up your connection if you intend to establish a thriving and creative and good system with Baphomet. Pls correct me if I'm wrong or deliver good feedback as I'm still learning and have yet to work with the deity myself.

I am not following your contrast of named faiths in a greater unseen and or spiritual power vs secular faith in state. I did like your description of the faiths that you chose to describe. Real well distilled descriptives. Then in the second paragraph you covered a lot of ground to get from Templars to LGBTQ. The Templars could also be described in Machiavellian terms. The knights became richer and more popular than their master. The died for it. Machiavelli would have advised them against this behavior in The Prince because their fate was a likely outcome. Then I will skip to the last point with a further argument. LGBTQ are persecuted throughout the world according to the doctrines of faith that underpin most governing bodies of the world at this time. Baphomet is so weird on face value, and I would even argue is THE most misunderstood throughout history; this video will be so helpful and good and I can't wait! From what I understand personally Baphomet is a god of alchemy and fully neutral, only changing depending on what etheric energy systems you introduce into your practices with the deity. One could argue Baphomet has been tainted within the astral and the collective subconscious due to all the associations and because satanic people still benefit greatly from this entity, and so the misunderstanding arrives when we think that it cannot be used in good and ethical systems solely on this basis. However, I believe this isn't the case, and that working with Baphomet simply depends on what intentions you bring to it, as it seems it is neither good nor evil but an absolute neutral. So if you bring a lot of fear and trepidation into it beforehand because of bias or slander, it can very well mess up your connection if you intend to establish a thriving and creative and good system with Baphomet.
Pls correct me if I'm wrong or deliver good feedback as I'm still learning and have yet to work with the deity myself.

I am not following your contrast of named faiths in a greater unseen and or spiritual power vs secular faith in state. I did like your description of the faiths that you chose to describe. Real well distilled descriptives.
Then in the second paragraph you covered a lot of ground to get from Templars to LGBTQ. The Templars could also be described in Machiavellian terms. The knights became richer and more popular than their master. The died for it. Machiavelli would have advised them against this behavior in The Prince because their fate was a likely outcome. Then I will skip to the last point with a further argument. LGBTQ are persecuted throughout the world according to the doctrines of faith that underpin most governing bodies of the world at this time. I am not saying that I agree with the Abrahamic view on the persecution of LGBTQ. I do not know that it is scapegoating. (It is kind of funny that we are here talking about goats and goats are a theme in the video). You say that these LGTBQ behaviors are seen as outside of culturally normal. It seems to my current understanding that it goes deeper than just culture. Culture is things that you “should” do. The majority of people here in the US are Christian’s. As such they believe in a higher law. Law being the key word there. So that the practice of anything other than man plus woman is violating the law of their chosen concept of God’s laws. And law is not just something you “should” do it is something you “must” do or the holy books dictate punishment. I can not speak to a European perspective. It could be that in the EU that LGBTQ behavior is being scapegoated. In which case I humbly stand corrected. If you have the time and are interested in a bit of further description here in the context as I have laid her I would appreciate your insight. I personally feel that the US is heading to a modern era of inquisition. A bit of “Name of the Rose” as we lapse into a middle age of regression after this period of enlightenment. My opinion is Baphomet comes from The Thousand Goat Mother, in Mesopotamia, and will take on different forms, but was understood through Greco-Roman languages and Islamic symbolism.
It can be a role taken on or a symbol set, but that can provoke real beings, aside from the ritualist.
Baphomet´s main meaning and relevance it´s pretty much the same as how it happens with the Wrathfull Divine Guardians of Tibetan-Mongolian Buddhism or Japanese Shinto-Buddhism mixup traditions as well, though builded on its own within Western Esoteric lore.
Well Mendes was actually Menfis and the goat god seems to have been the ram-headed version of the god Amun/Amon worshipped there, which in the New Empire of Egypt time was another version to worshipp the Sun God Ra as well.

Very good video. This brings to my mind the figure of Ea Enki of Sumerian mythology. He was the god of water, magic and knowledge and one of his symbols was the Ibex and he was said to be stubborn and thus likened to the goat. I wonder sometimes if his archetype as a horned god made it down through the ages in the form of magick and occult philosophy.

Well Baphomet indeed could be seen as both a version of the Great Horned-One male-divinity on the duoistic Wicca or as the integration of both him and his partner into one higher self bonding harmonically attributes of both into one self, yet kinda also leaning a bit more into a all male or male-leading version of Wicca that is the polar opposite of the pro-feministic and only female-leading versions where the main focus is the Mother Triple Goddess of Moon and Earth, in complementary contrapossition to the Sun God then. (I haven´t seen any version of Baphomet into that fully better integrated self emboding all the attributes of the female deity alongside the male one, because so far hasn´t shown any trace of the pregnancy full-blossom implications on the peak archetype of the Goddess yet, it could be overwhelming I guess.)
