Meditation can help you live without any labels. Your attention is only in present. Much of this mental constructs limit us. You can fight them with experience aka doing the opposite but "distancing" yourself from your thoughts is also beneficial and is a meta trait if done over many months of meditation.

I alternate my addictions between Zen teacher and Sam Vaknin, at first it was uncomfortable no one knows more than the Buddha I thought...I tried to put Sam into my Buddha box (still do sometimes) but slowly I learn just to listen and enjoy😊

Professor, you must write a new book talking about nothingness and all of these topics. Every time I see my emptyness I heal and feel better, ty, your book would be called the science of healing, nothingness the key to repair your mind

Thank you all the valuable information here. In order to absorb it all, I find I have to listen to these multiple times.

As someone with a zazen practice (and I suppose therefore, on the Path as a "Zennie") I am appreciating this extra channel. Thank you.

How many more steps of nothingness will you release? And will you make a book based on the nothingness concept?

The problem nowadays is that there are less and less people who know how to behave like adults and maintain proper healthy boundaries.

Regarding addicts: is this to say the processes involved with feeding an addiction are the equivalent to one’s occupation or hobby? EDIT: *CAN be the equivalent

What is the difference between “healthy” exiting out of your comfort zone and novelty seeking behaviors? In your other video you mentioned the latter is a psychopathic and unhealthy behavior..I’m confused

I suppose the difference is the choice. If it is a compulsion, it can't be a choice. Seek novelty as a choice rather than a compulsive race.
