  • Making a 3D Sign.
In this 5 minute video I am showing a step by step in how to make an eloborate 3D wooden sign. Some of the techniques used are: sandblasting, handpainting, gilding and gluechipping.

Beautiful sign! The effect the of the sandblasting looked wonderful. I had a customer who wanted the look of old cedar without paying for cedar, so I used a wire wheel and drill to get a similar effect. Great job!

Yes I know that technique, i used it also. A nice alternative for sandblasting the wood, but still a bit different though.
