@@IeuanBevan. I got my engine torn down and found my crank was trashed beyond repair. Block is still good. If crank wasn't destroyed I would've spent around 3 grand.
Not too bad, you don't have to remove the heads or top end but I had to because of my low garage height. If you have experience working on cars you could have it out in a few hours of work.
are those top-hat sleeves in the cylinders? how are they holding up?
Sorry just saw this, yes they are top hats. They are darton liners which have an o ring at the bottom of them. I've had no issues with them.

I use Coosa valley performance in Cartersville Georgia. Old school machine shop that does good work.
