The really frustrating thing the entire time in this hearing is she refuses to own what she's ready to scream when not under oath. If she didn't think she was wrong in any way, she'd absolutely do that, she'd own every last bit, double down, etc, but she refuses to answer straight forward questions on the stand because she knows she's wrong and does everything to distance herself from her own statements.
I hate that so much. If you say something over here, and someone asks you 'did you say that over there?' you say 'YES' because you believe what you said or you believed it at the time. She doesn't even give that excuse, that she believed it once, but was convinced by later evidence that she was wrong.
She also displays some of that Roger Stone disposition energy, being combative while being questioned.

Where was judge in this. The moment she said I am not answering that, the judge should have pounced and, if not, the attorney needs to ask the judge to direct her to answer. Thus is an in court examination, not a conversation amongst friends. And then when she said "hold on..." the judge should have told her to stop because there was no question before her and, after she spoke, the attorney should have moved to strike as nonresponsive. His response of "fair enough" further proved what a clown show this is.

Attempted murder is a crime. "It's not like I actually killed anyone...!" does not constitute a viable defense against the charge of attempted murder.

The 14th Amendment specifically EXCLUDES from ballots on Official Elections people who have been involved in or supported Insurrection. This NOT a question of violating peoples' Right to Vote, i.e. an attack on democracy, it is a question that, can the 14th Amendment can ever be applied AT ALL? IF it can't, it shouldn't exist.
The Republican argument is basically that the 14th Amendment is UnConstitutional.
@@judewarner1536 That's a great way of of putting it. If any portion of the 14th Amendment can never be applied, it shouldn't exist. And yet it does exist; ergo, it must have an application. I think it is likely that the judge will kick the can down the road.

Murder has special rules over mistaken facts--one is held to a higher standard--if you intended to kill this person, even tho you erroneously believed he was someone else, you still are liable. Question is the effect her error thinking Biden cheated has on her guilt. She must be accountable for the behavior regardless of her beliefs it was right, because the truth was readily available, she did not want to know the truth.
Every newspaper told her there was no fraud, Biden won. The AG--the nut Trump appointed--said it was a free and fair election, he could not find fraud. Trump lost every election fraud case--no lawyer could introduce any evidence of election fraud by Dems--ZERO! Judges asked for evidence! There were even Trump-appointed judges--they wanted to act of the evidence, but there was none anywhere! No one saw any fraud, no inspection of ballots ever found any fakes--not ever! No one has blabbed of any conspiracy. Nothing.
It all comes back to Trump telling people the election was rigged, told them Biden cheated, ut never cited anyone's investigation, never appointed a special prosecutor, never told the FBI to open a formal investigation--in the most powerful office on Earth? Why don't these fools ever wonder why they don't know of a single factual circumstance of Dems committing fraud?
Haven't they ever wondered why there is never a showing of this supposedly "massive" fraud--but no one voted a dead relative's ballot for Biden, No one is testifying they saw any fraud at work for anyone working on the election. Not one Trumper has ever found admissible evidence of fraud (1st-hand testimony, not hearsay from anonymous blog or forum posts) anywhere in the country. NO EVIDENCE. @@ianleary5780 What I can't get my head round is that the greatest legal / political brains of 18th century USA came up with The Bill of Rights and most of the earlier Amendments: the 14th Amendment itself arose from the Civil War, and some of the best legal brains of the 21st century don't appear to understand it?
Why is it that its applicability effectively UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES is being questioned by Republicans (well we know why!) when it is obvious to the most meagre intelligence it is PRECISELY for such circumstances as 1/6 that it was formulated and not just for actual Civil War. That's why it includes the part about ''giving aid & comfort''.
