This is a great video and I'm really excited you finally covered the Authority! I was hoping you would do this subject for quite a while now. However, there are a few bits of information that you had slightly mistaken and/or may not have known. There were other vampires besides Russell Edgington older than Salome, including Godric and Macklyn Warlow/Ben Flynn. There are also mentions of an ancient form of the Authority in special features (Pam talking about Godric) that says when Godric killed his maker, they chased him for decades. Spelling wise - Dieter rather than Dietar Braun.
I like your videos because it's obvious your really like this subject and sharing it with all of us. You make the videos enjoyable and beautiful. I'd watch a 3 hour video if you dropped one lol
My favorite council member of The Authority is Rosalyn Harris, I Love her and the actress Carolyn Hennessy as well is amazing. Nora was my second favorite and Roman (the Guardian) was my third favorite as well as his actor Christopher Meloni.
Honestly I thought the conventions the royals had in the books were so much more interesting than the authority in the show. I did like the shows version of the Edgington storyline in season 3 though.
You mean liiiiiikkkkke our human Government. Who outlaw theft and yet "tax" us against our will by threat of violence? And who forbid us to murder and yet allow their enforcers "kill" us with immunity and often for nothing at all?
I enjoyed your vid, but if you aren’t sure how to pronounce a name, as someone. It’s not Salome rhyming with home, it’s pronounced Salo-May, like the month of the year. She is from the Bible, did a forbidden dance, and asked for the head of John the Baptist (the man who baptized Jesus Christ) to be served to her on a silver platter. Also, it’s not Buy-zentine, it’s pronounced Biz-entine. Lastly, have you watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel?
That dude that flew inside of that one chancellor and shape-shifted back to a human was brutal 😂😂😂
They're basically the Voltori of True Blood.
Before game of thrones it was true blood that gave us the first horrible ending and writing for the last season 😂😂
I’d love for a nice break down of the Vampire series “Forever Knight.”
I need to watch that! It’s been foreverrrr!!
Was a great show
Christopher meloni is in everything and when he is in it you can ensure it's gonna be good!! You can tell this is right after leaving law & order: SVU
I think I love the idea of Salome going “sorry guardian, I know your true identity. Detective Stabler, please can I see your jacket?” 😂
I love True Blood and all the Sookie books! I would love more videos on this 😃
I also suggest more videos about True Blood, even though the series is a bit older, I still love it 😁
They seem similar to the noble council in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Minus religion.
I feel like it’s more similar to the volturi except secretive
Excellent informational video! Thank you for putting this out!

My favorite part of the show was the characters backstories
I wish you would do a deep dive of the books and compare the show itself because the books are vastly different then of the show.

I really should watch true blood. I've been enjoying the lore videos you have made, when it was running I didn't pay much attention.

“I *am* the authority‼️”

“From as far back as the 20th century” as we are currently in the 21st century.
You sound just like my guy over at Harry Potter Folklore 😅😂😅
Godric Russel and Warlow are all older than Salome
The authority are a bunch of hypocrites, they kill other vampires for there own gain

Dieter is my maker 😊❤

That is not how you say Salome lol
Why are you pronouncing Salomé so wrong.......???
its funny i actually downladed the books 2day
I'm not a fan
I could never get into this series
