Something to note with the PW100-12 plow is it has an optional Packomat which is an attached cultivator. Adding it will cause the plow to dig up ALL types of stones, small, medium and large, so you will need to use a stone picker to removed the medium and large stones, which also leaves a cultivated state, making the Packomat option completely worthless.
I noticed if you use herbicide on medium weeds, it drops the yield bonus by 10%. However if you use a hoe on medium weeds, you keep your full yield bonus.
I guess a question could be, does the cost of leasing the giant lime spreader and paying for a pallet (or fill up from a lime station) negate the 15% increase in yield on the field you are working? Obviously the more fields you have that you can lime while you have it leased will make it more worth it, but how many acres do you need to lime before the 15% increase in yield will cover the cost of spreading the lime if you don't already own a spreader and lime?
There's something that many are missing. Yes, some equipment is expensive but, if you're willing to pay the cost, it actually cuts down on your fuel and repairs. Honestly, I've always just "plowed" all my fields after harvest and after spreading lime. Then Spread with granular fertilizer and later followed by liquid fertilizer since, I can "unload" either back into totes and reload later as what is required later.
As with all FS before it depends on how you play. If ur a role player then its worth it but if you play it like a sim its not. I play it like a sim, I never drive the equipment myself I only use helpers (as many going as possible) and I try to always be doing things in the background while they work setting up infrastructure etc. The main goal for me is to get to the next day ASAP so the time it takes to do the rolling etc that offer almost no % increase but take time isnt worth the time. Basically while others would be chasing that tiny gain wasting time (unless their larping) im already on the next day harvesting, selling crops, cultivating, etc. turning that real life time into $'s, it's all about the $'s/per min of real life time.
Mulching... If you use a Direct seeder, DO NOT Mulch before. The seeder mulch as it goes, if you mulch before, the direct seeder REMOVES the mulching you just did. As for Sprayers and herbicide... Waste of money, endless money-pit of buying herbicide. Use the weeder or hoening instead.

@@FarmerKlein LoL. I wrote, after 15 seconds into the video. It wasn't to disturb you. 🙂 By the way, i tested some stuff with swaths. Driving in them, affects the yield. Both from the McDon pack, and the straw swaths. The FS25 is way more complex than 22.

@@DrtyDiesel are you sure about that? That was the case in fs 22 precision farming is it equal in fs 25?

I found that fields of harvested wheat on the start farm wouldn't accept lime until they had been plowed.
How did you change the colors of the icons like in the seasons menu?
Fs22- mulch, fert, seed, roll, weed=100/100. Now in fs25 that does not work regardless if you direct seed or not, results in 97%.
Think you are missing the 2,5% from mulching
Also, you loose 5% from sowing and liming if you don’t each time, takes 3 times for it to go from 15 bonus to 0 each
Hows the wear and tear on this game. Is it just as annoying as the FS22?
Hook a brother up with a code to the game lol

That sounds like a bug

That's what happens IRL.
Can't wait for The fs25 version of Conservation agriculture where you don't have to do either
