You definitely couldn’t scrape backwards with the implements. This game is just getting better and better. Once all the bugs have gone it will be one hell of an upgrade.
I have also been quite impressed with the AI-workers, what an improvement. I mean still it's a very scaled down version of courseplay and maybe autodrive, I have only tried the goto job for AI-workers once, from the store to the farm on Riverbend Springs and it failed so I need to test that out more. But for fieldwork it's great !! Even the steering assistance is great
I am enjoying the game although I haven't tried doing silage yet. On FS 22 wheel loaders would get stuck on the back of the bunker. Best way to compact silage on FS 22 was to use a Claas Xerion quad track with all weights attached front and back as it only took about five minutes to do about half a million litres. I'll have to give it a try on FS 25. Thanks for the update, I'll give it a month and the game will hopefully be bug free as Giants are good at sorting out any bugs.
That silage sheet texture looks real, unlike a lot of them for example potatoes or sugar beet in the back of a trailer just looks flat, no 3d effect at all unless your are looking from a distance.
That looks so much better on the compaction mate. Didn’t actually realise the workers put there beacons on if we are in the way that’s brilliant. Have to admit I’m now going to have to call that forager the covid king of maize silage 🤣🤣
Bunker silage is easy and if you get the mixing wagon with the pickup head, you can make TMR super easily with a hay loft and a few bunker silos. Only thing is the forage wagon and mixer is expensive, so I'm doing silage baling instead until I can save up some money. Also grass is GOATED for silage, cause you don't have to replant and can harvest every other day.
I'll never figure out why games have such a difficult time with Gravity. Oh it looks like maybe it's just a glitch. I Hope they fix that quickly. 👍Thanks Scroft.
I didn't do silage much in 22, but I did a lot in 19. I learned to dump on the sides first then the middle. I also would back the trailer up on top of the pile to fill up vertically before moving forward.

Dealing with the bunker silos is too much of a pain in the butt. What I've done is Ive stationed a Vario Master V140 in front of a storage warehouse. It takes additives to bump silage, and there's no hassle compacting it. All you do is forage your grass and tip it in the V140's bunker. It will keep churning out wrapped bales that automatically get picked up and fermented in storage, all while you're out there collecting more grass. It basically eliminates the annoying stop and go baling process.

I have it...checked it out...did some file edits and turned on console commands, etc...but won't be playing it regular until my must-have mods are out and at least one decent 4X PC map.
I will always remember the days of fs 2013 where Westbridge Hills field 9 with chaff would make millions on 1 harvest Silage was so broken on that game 😂
xbox series x we always used to get stuck but we could use the the tractor with a load of grass or chaff on to start it off after your 1st load was in and then use the compactor after with its forcks tilted up to get a good level then sheet it I am on fs25 and it's so much better
Hilarious that you said they could do a job properly. My hired worker ended up inside a rock on the beach while planting field 32 on Hutan Panti. I'm thinking it is that field because worker wouldn't mulch the field either (no field found).
I'm loving the game so far except for one part, contracts, I've always started all my games doing contract work until I have earned enough to set up my own farm, in FS22 I would always finish the job 100% even though contract was finished, but no more, FS25 kicks you off the field as soon as contact is done, which is sending my ocd into overdrive, I cannot leave a field unfinished so I just dont do them anymore, which means my game style has had to change, I know some folks will think this is a bit over dramatic but you would not expect to get paid in real life for only doing 95% of the job, this is supposed to be a simulator please let me simulate finishing the jobs I am being paid to do, other than that I love the game, cannot wait for advanced contracts mod to come out so I can set it to 100%. thanks for listening to the ranting of an old fool, cheers 🤪

I think the issue you're having with the forks getting stuck and making the entire front loader fly up into the air is an issue with the tools. I was watching a stream on Tiktok earlier today and the person had a set of pallet forks on the front loader of a small tractor get stuck in the ground while they were trying to grab a pallet. They ended up having to flip the tractor all the way over before the tool released from the ground, but then they had to figure out how to flip the tractor back over without getting the tool stuck again!
I also wish Giants could get licensing from Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Nissan, Land Rover etc etc so that everyone has the luxury of using them and makes it so I can play with my youngest boy who's on Xbox and still get to drive my Ford
You seem to need more experience filling silage bunkers with just a tractor and trailer, lol. Was wondering if it was those "manure" forks causing the glitch??
That was my thought, it didn't look like it. Need someone to set up this situation and make a save, then drive over once with the compactor and see the compaction, reload and do it again without it and see how they compare
The deformation isn't true deformation though, everybody was hyping it up and they overdone it without understanding what is actually happening. I will preface this with saying that it is impressive, and its definitely an improvement, but this is something we could have had in FS17, if the devs would have cared enough, what is actually happening is the same thing that's always happened, its reading the dirt layer for vehicles, and its reading the overlay for the treads, but now it has depth data, which is where its defining where you've left imprints, if it was actual deformation, you would actually be displacing the dirt/chaff etc, but you aren't. From what I've seen FS25 was released as a cash grab with intentions to fix it later, and as someone that has been on the farm sim scene since the tail end of 13, start of 15, its sad that Giants has decided to go this route with the game! They can and should do better, not just for the fans and the community but for their own sake!

Every new release is. This one seems pretty stable (nothing game breaking so far)...although it does have some annoying bugs...like filling implements and that flashing graphics bug.
Is it just me or is it very buggy. I'm on xbox and to me it seems very slow and especially jumping I have allot of lag whitch isn't the console as next gen. It also does not look as well as I was expecting
The movement is so weird because there is only a running animation, walking speed is just the running animation slowed down, and you go walking speed while jumping so it's also slowed down. It feels pretty bad :/
Im back on FS22 and look great compared to FS25. The textures are awful on FS25. There is also graphic problems. Think FS19 looked better. Will just have to wait for updates and patches. Crazy they can release its on console and no one experienced it during testing

Why are partners completely ignoring the bugs? Any word on the flashing graphics issue and when that will be fixed? Random invisible walls that workers keep running into? Filling implements bug? Etc?

You could, I remember doing it a fair bit but it was nowhere near as pronounced as it is now. It would only smooth out the smaller bumps

I've had it since the third day it was out and I'm hooked. It's got issues but it's just so damn fun

You can take the combine over the mown straw and get a 25 percent more yield off the wheat... It will separate the grains
So your confirming that mowing wheat gives the same bonus as swathing?

No that's normal for a wheel loader unless it's completely compacted I can get stuck in the chaff
Does the ground compaction tyre tracks change when the sillage is compacted 50% vs 0% vs 100%
Just hook the trailer to the forage harvester

Name one game that releases with no bugs. And when you start changing major things there are bound to be issues. Nobody is forcing you to play.

Seen it mentioned. If you go into a vehicle then out and into 3rd person that normally sorts it.

I can't play huntan pantai on ps5 it has a purple box stuck to my screen and I don't know what's causing it.
Must be a you issue as I've had no real issues with graphics. A few stutters and flickers but other then that fs25 has been bang on.
