Anyone who is soft on crime has never been victimized.
Or has no empathy for victims or broken empathy and somehow empathizes with criminals. My theory is certain subcultures in this country empathize with criminals because their crime rate is so high and they defend members of their same race even if they are criminals. So they glorify criminals. They feel like they are sticking up for their brothers and sisters when they defend criminals.
And anyone who changes their mind after becoming one should never be forgiven.

I've had a car and motorcycle stolen from me over the years, recently had $500 worth of stuff stolen out of my new truck, which they also tried to steal but failed. Over the years I've had other smaller thefts occur. If I had to add it all up it's very likely over $10,000 in just the last 5 years. That's more than I make it 2 months before taxes. I literally have to work for free for months to replace the things stolen from me. I'm trying to save up a down payment for a house so I can leave the town but now I have to replace my tools which I only left in the truck for 1 night. I can't even slip up just 1 time or my shit gets stolen. It's so prevalent I can do everything right for months, mess up 1 time and lose $500 just like that. Sad.
How on earth do you people put up with that crap? You know exactly who is stealing your stuff you know who those people are what neighborhoods they live in. Maybe if the cops aren't going to do their jobs people like you should arm up and step up.

She's still wrong on the vast majority of issues, so let's not start sticking our tongue up her ass just yet just because she's shown the slightest bit of flex on one or two things. She's a LONG way to being someone I'd ever respect. If she starts walking back all the other crap TYT has been wrong about over the years, then we can revisit the Ana Kasparian parade in her honor.
I think she's always been the latter, it might've been hard to see through bias, though. (We all have bias.)

My former landlord had owned quite a few properties and he rented them at very affordable rates. We lived in our home for about 7 years. When covid hit we didn't miss 1 rental payment. He said we were 1 of 3 tenants that paid rent throughout that time. He had 15 properties. He had to start selling off his properties because he couldn't afford to keep up with the mortgages and then he developed prostate cancer and sold them all. We had to move because a company that flips houses bought all of his homes and he had told them we were one of his best tenants but they booted us anyways. He passed a year later. Its shitty how people can be. We paid 850 a month for a nice 4 bedroom, 2 bath house with a large fenced in yard. He didn't make us pay a pet deposit and he always made repairs as soon as they needed to be done. Rents in this area now run no cheaper than 1400 a month so it blows my mind ppl will screw over a good landlord just because the govt said you couldn't be evicted. They didn't say you didn't have to pay rent, they said you couldn't be eveicted for it during that time. People just thought they had free rent during that time and they went crying to the news stations when they found out they were being evicted for non payment of rent agter the moratorium was lifted. Our neighbors at the time had a smaller home than us and paid $1600 a month for their home. We had one of the bigger homes on the street and paid less rent than everybody else. You're damn right we are going to take care of our landlord. People on Ana's side see landlords as corporations with tons of money begind them when most of the time it is someone using a property for investment in retirement or college funds for their kids ect. We went from paying 850 a month to 1800.

The people who are against landlords have been brainwashed to see all landlords as those Ahs with lots of properties on which they make big bucks, who have a private plane etc. And sometimes they're just jealous. The only landlord thing that makes sense to me is if you have one or two properties you own and rent out. Taking out mortgages on 15 properties and renting them out is not it. What happened to that man was entirely predictable.

That moratorium on evictions sounds compassionate, but really it was just theft from landlords. If Congress wanted people in apartments without paying rent, it should have coughed up money to pay the landlords.

That's happened to a lot of famous people these past 10+ years. The goalposts got moved so far left people found themselves far right suddenly.
I see it a little differently as she was hard line but has backed off some at least on certain issues. She wasn't always like this, she herself in this video described that she's proud of her decision to no longer care if she tows the line on, she's going to be authentic .. she evolved not remained as she was.
It happens in Australian politics too. Two party system, one side “feel-good”, the other side, Conservative for elections and towing the line once in power.
I used to be a leftist who supported "defund/abolish police." Then I worked as a public transit operator for several years and gradually realized that the overwhelming majority of police I interacted with were professional and decent people doing a hard job. They spent every working day dealing with the scum of the earth and keeping hardworking people safe.
I don't label myself politically anymore but I still believe in basic socialist principles of economic equality and dignity for working people coupled with security for the young and aged. No one should live in fear of gangbangers and thugs who have turned every American city into a hellhole of debauchery. Acknowledging the reality of crime made me a pariah among the liberals and leftists I used to consider friends so now I just try and make friends across the political spectrum and listen and learn from a wider range of commentators. Your channel has been a good source for me lately.

I think Sean has played a major role in RedPilling Ana, TYT has started covering some of the same stories Sean covers within days of him releasing his videos. I'm fairly certain Ana has been watching AJW for at least a year or two, Ana is on track to eventually leave the left (just like I did) but I think she's in too deep and it's gonna take something major for her to make the leap.

If I had renters that weren’t paying, and the state said I couldn’t evict them (which is unconstitutional) I would just lock out the power, and lock out the water shut off under the house. I think the movie Clockwork Orange portrayed that very well. I’m old enough to remember a time when I could strongly disagree with my Democrat friend(s) over a political issue and then go drink ten (10) beers with them. We’d laugh our a**es off about other things like sports, movies, stupid trends, etc…. I want to go back to those days.

It is because with the left wing it is NOT in fact a bait and switch. When you vote for a person who promises to enact progressive policy, and they do just that, except the progressive policy progresses beyond your personal tastes that is not a bait and switch. Meanwhile for someone on the right when you vote for someone who promises to enact conservative policy, and then they vote for progressive policy, that actually IS a bait and switch.
For those on the left it is an incapability of understanding the long term ramifications of their ideology. For those on the right it is a battle against people selling their souls. It's a completely different phenomenon.

Sorry, this just isn't right. I live in SoCal and vote on all these crazy referendums. They absolutely, definitely, without a doubt lie about what they contain. It absolutely is a bait-and-switch.
The bail reform referendum said absolutely nothing about changing felonies into misdemeanors. It said that the law would be changed so that wealthy people would not be able to buy their way out of bail. It made it sound like the bail would be made proportional to your ability to pay, according to the severity of the crime.
It said nothing about removing bail entirely, it said nothing about making crimes "not bail eligible".
There was even a "con" argument supposedly written by the "opposition", and that didn't say anything about the real things the law would do either, it read like it was a false flag type piece.
So no, these people do not vote directly for things like "make all the felonies misdemeanors". I sincerely don't know why lawmakers spring that stuff on us, it freaks me out and makes me feel like they have some secret motive. Maybe it is to manipulate the stats, I don't know.
But you have to have some experience with how the left lies and frames their arguments to know not to vote for these things. They make them sound very reasonable.
Left wing voters that claim the left is a bait and switch are just trying to shift blame away from themselves. Left wing elected officials and bureaucrats largely try to enact the policies they advocate for. They give left wing voters much of what they asked for. If anything, right wing politicians and the like are more bait and switch than left wing ones.
The problem is that left wing voters refuse to accept responsibility for the consequences of their votes. This is why we see millions of left wing voters destroy their home state or city, and then move to a more moderate (or even right wing) area. Only to continue voting for the same policies which destroyed their previous location.

Because, we all have families, friends and loved ones who are potential victims, right?

Seattle here, had my car broken into twice within months. Second time it was totaled and not drivable cuz they destroyed the entire console and ignition trying to steal it. Insurance didn’t cover hardly shit and I did not have money for a new car. And couldn’t easily get to work anymore so that affected my job and ability to save up for a new car. So yeah I’ve hated Seattle crime policy’s for years. Also have had my storage unit broken into multiple times losing lots of money worth of stuff. Been physically chased and verbally assaulted by homeless people. If I could move I would. But I can’t

But after moving I have had an easy time making friends, to the degree that 4 days a week I am hanging out with folks. At 33 I am more socially active than when I was 14. It wasn't me that was the problem, Seattlites are just anti-social and low trust.

I think in the end a large part, even a majority in each side doesn't know or care about the issues or the solutions, they just want a side to be on, or are just reacting out of blind hatred and fear, and will always attack and blame. A democrat could say "gun rights are important" and they would find some way to reflexively argue against them.
