It is interesting to see this. Abby isn’t screaming at her. She is not insulting her. She is calm. She is doing her job and is doing it quite well. Not what the show portrays
I think she might morph into one of her favorites. She's super talented, she's a super sweet and hardworking girl, and her mom doesn't cause trouble.
Doesn’t matter how sweet you are or compliant your mom is if you’re not pulling 1st consistently though. That’s most important to Abby.

I really think it has a lot to do with how many times Abby has to give the corrections. I'm sure it's irritating to tell a kid to fix the same move over and over without them caring enough to fix it, that's why she likes Brady so much, and probably why she seems to like Sarah.

Exactly, and I hate thattt she is so sweet and nice (she is tough tho) and the producers are making her look meannn
I think she is a monster, a lot of her former students said she said and did a lot of bad things off show to the degree they don’t want to air it. Also the show want more drama so when Abby being calm they will not show it but that’s doesn’t mean when she is bullying the kids it’s just acting for the show, that’s her real personality. She is a mean, biased, racist and abuser. Her being calm sometimes doesn’t mean she is not an abuser. If u don’t know narcissistic people and abusers can be really nice sometimes and that what makes their victims confused and still stick around them, it just makes it harder for them to decide to leave.
Love these videos. Gianna and Abby are amazing teachers. And Sarah listens and makes corrections really quickly

I like how Abby and Giana are just calmly giving corrections. They weren't like this in the earlier seasons (mostly Abby).

I think Sarah works really well with Abby. Abby doesn’t seem to have to yell at her to get her to fix her mistakes and she seems to be working really hard

It looks like Sarah is a favourite. Abby has patience with her and it’s amazing. Telling her what she has to do right instead of yelling at her and expecting her to fix it herself.

Abby gives such precise and detailed instructions, no wonder she’s a stickler about terminology because that’s how she teaches. I can also understand getting frustrated when you have to explain the same intense details over and over again. Wish we could see more of this.

sarah is actually an amazing dancer.
It's so nice seeing Abby portrayed as Abby and not just the bad. Did she loose her temper and yell, yes do a lot of teachers when their ELITE students (not the once a week 30 min students) keep doing the same things wrong....YES. the show made her look like that's all she did. It is nice to see her teaching and being the woman she was MOST of the time.
I agree. People don't realize that the mean Abby they see on dance moms is her getting frustrated with her ELITE, TEENAGE students for making silly mistakes like not pointing their feet or bending their knees. Or having to say the correction 15 times before they apply it. That's why she preferred to work with Maddie, Kalani, Brynn Brady, Sarah, etc.....because they can spend more time with them cleaning the number because they apply corrections the first time

She's not lazy. She probably ran her solos all those times and never marked anything, which is why Abby and Gianna are so pleased with her. And mind you, she's doing tricks on both her good and bad leg (like when Abby was giving that correction, she was doing it on her bad leg and she still applied the correction in one try). Idk if she does tricks on her right, but she definitely turns on her left, so if she's actually a leftie through and through, that's more impressive considering Abby thought she was a rightie
Abby really like acro dancers.
Like Paige forgets her dance that's acro, or she doesn't place, Abby gets angry but not that angry because she's an acro dancer. But for Chloe for example she dance beautifully but didn't place right, abbys gonna yell at her just because she's not that flexible and not really a tumbler. Like brooke lost her passion for dance, and Abby still wanted her because she's a contortionist. That's why she has a soft spot for acro dancers

In the before-show clip, she doesn’t fail her back tuck, just bobbles a bit when landing. That’s what Abby said she did in the dressing room. Proves that they film twice. Also the best parts of this solo weren’t shown

Abby uses lily for her contortion like she does for Brooke and Kenzie but she never did it for Sarah hunt this Sarah and in this dance Sarah is showing what she can do

This routine had the potential to show on stage as something so much more beautiful had it not been a tribute to Mary Lou Retton. Talk about a needlessly archaic reference. A link to Nastia Liukin would've been more fitting for Sarah. She also could've then gone without that awful wig.
