It’s honestly sooo cute on how shy Hannah is and how supportive and excited Ann is
I am not sure, if Ann is really helping Hannah with her shyness. For me it seems more, that Ann is the reason for her shyness. ...not because of the bs they show and say in the show about theire relationship, but because of my own ecperiences. I have a very supportive mother too and I think, her lovely and overly supportive behaviour caused my shyness (as a child), or at least it was one reason besides a few others for my shyness. Has someone made equal ecperiences?
eXtremeGoLden I agree! I think Ann is a great mother and is only trying to support her child! But I agree sometimes I think In her attempts to make her child comfortable with her and not seem like a mother who doesn’t care, or understand their daughters shyness (my mom) sometimes I think Ann doesn’t push Hannah ENOUGH. Your mom was super supportive so you relate but I relate cause my mother didn’t understand so I always felt like I was on my own and I think that’s what Ann and your mom are trying to avoid🤷🏼♀️ idk just my guess. But I feel like sometimes she needs to step back and let Hannah speak for herself so that hannah can begin to slowly feel more comfortable and maybe break out of her shell. The moms on the show act as if she’s a horrible mom I think she just really cares so much about her child and it’s just the wrong path🤷🏼♀️

@@eXtremeGoLden I agree. I am 15 years old and I have extremely severe social anxiety disorder. When I was 14, my parents decided to take me to therapy for the first time in my life. Now, i am extremely shy and i have a hard time forming relationships with my peers. My parents are incredibly kind and supportive, but I feel like my mental health would be in a better place right now if they would have taken me to therapy as soon as they noticed something was off with me. (Probably around 3-4 years old).

Hannah's mom is so great at giving her daughter the corrections. She's so positive and encouraging. Hannah's dance was ethereal and they cut to Stacey up in the Mom's cage yapping her mouth probably about Hannah and her mom.

I love that Ana is apart of Hannahs rehearsals and gives both compliments and constructive criticism, while also noting the things Hannah is good at. You can totally tell Ana doesn't put pressure or expectation, and simply allows Hannah to dance naturally and fix small details.

Hannah is my favorite. She is always nice to the other girls she doesn’t complain. Actually she kind of reminds me of Chloe even though Chloe was never as quiet as her.

Kendomcum IG her dance style and personality are very similar. Chloe came out of her self throughout the show, I’m sure Hannah will also. But imagine all the cameras in your face and try not being shy.
I love Ann she is the only one that pushes her child in a nice way that it doesn’t make her frustrated or makes her crie

MsJubjubbird Hannah also has serious anxiety issues so if she try’s to push too much then she’ll break down. I really hope that Hannah gets on some type of anxiety meds cause I think it’ll really help her

This is what should be in the actual dance moms episodes, not the drama. Lots of us watch for the actual dancing and not drama. But I love how Ann is helping her daughter run the dance many times and give corrections.... this is what makes good dancers.

See, this is how you can help train your kids to get better at their craft, by providing constructive criticism as well as complimenting when they do something correct. Not by babying them and telling them that they are always perfect, but by being hard and critical in a nice and constructive way that won’t pressure the kids so much that they end up messing up. Parents need to find a happy medium and that is exactly what Ann has done which is allowing Hannah to advance tremendously and I am so proud of her! With a mother like that she will defiantly succeed in her dreams of she really wants too!
During the interviews throughout the first few episodes, I didn’t really like Hannah’s mom, her correcting her daughters talking and laughing, came off quite rude.
But this scene totally changed my mind, and now I love her and realize how sweet she is, and the producers and editing were just clouding my judgement.
ranibowunicorn I agree. Hannah is shy but I also feel like she just doesn’t know what to say in some of the interviews. Even in ones where she is by herself she normally doesn’t say that much she is not used to a camera being around her all the time. She probably has social anxiety
I felt the same. Now watching this season and also clips lifetime is sharing with us I almost get the vibe that Hannah is more than shy and that’s why her mother over compensates by talking for her and prompting her. It makes me curious to know if she has a slight form of autism or social anxiety an is just a very good dancer as well. I really did not like momma Ann but now getting the vibe I’m getting I really do and I feel like she is the best and most real mom on the team.

In an interview about the new team it was said that Ann is a choreographer and has her own dance studio. I think that’s what the original post meant. I don’t think she is confused about what the ALDC stands for.
But then again I could be wrong. lol.

This mother is SO SO freaking cute ! I love how supportive she is with everyone in the team and this confidence she has in her daughter.
She keeps saying "you're gonna do it, you're gonna be pretty, you believe in yourself huh?"
And her corrections are so right ! Hannah owns her second place to her hard work and her mother's help
Hannah’s mom is the best I really hope she stays and Hannah looks like a really hard worker not whining but practicing. Love seeing this. Getting Hannah to speak up and advocate for herself rather than fighting all her daughters battles. Go Hannah.

This mother is one of a kind! Absolutely amazing woman!!! Nice and supportive of her daughter, she loves for her to get corrections and actually suggestes her daughter how to fix them. I hope Hannah, when she grows up, she realizes that and starts thanking her mother for what she does for her. For now this kid is a little overwelmed by the new situation and probably all the pressure, but I am sure she'll become more and more confident soon and maybe she'll open up a little bit. As long as she really wants to do it at this level, she'll get to it with a mother like that. Good job Ann and keep working hard Hannah!!! 💞💞💞

She's also doing something I haven't seen other moms doing or I haven't seen them do much and is taking time to run through the dance and talk about corrections. Yes, she's a dance teacher and knows what needs to be corrected, however other moms can ask abby for a list of corrections and work on their dances with them. I love this video. It's so genuine and sincere and so sweet
Her mother is a beautiful woman who cares deeply for her child and does what she has to do and her corrections to her daughter are wonderful to see cause at times parents can be a bit too tough on our kids but she’s amazing and Hannah is an amazing dancer

Tosin Agbi But Ann is nice and sweet. Chloe's mom was awful. I didn't even realized how hard she made things until Chloe called her out for being too stressful and making rude comments at the last episode.

Ann is the perfect mom for someone like hannah; gently encouraging and praising the good things, while correcting the mistakes in a gentle yet firm way.
This was so beautiful and peaceful. Omg it shows what dance truly is, a stress reliever. Ofc critiques will come but they are in positive manner not demeaning. This is the environment that a dancer will strive in!
I’m going to be honest from just watching the episode I wasn’t too sure about Hannah & Ann . But after this I just fell in love with them both. The dance even brought me to tears amazing & beautiful

Wow I just love how patient and supportive Ann is of Hannah! She helped Hannah so much and I know it’s a lot easier for someone who’s watching the dance oppose to the person dancing to see the mistakes that need fixing. After Ann pointed how what she needed to fix, she fixed it and it looked very good and strong. Hannah is a good dancer and she’s very beautiful :)

this music is the same music for makaylee’s final solo in audc haha
crystal yea they often reuse music between the two shows, or even just on dance moms itself. Lifetime has deals with specific music libraries so Abby can only use music that comes from those. It’s also why Lifetime has been changing the music in some of their clips, they just lost a contract with a library they used to use so they no longer have the rights to use the song
That kid will be a star and she WANTS it, I hope she never loses her passion or determination for dance.

Hannah is so beautiful and she’s working so hard. Her mom is really being positive and giving her all the corrections that she needs and helping her with the dance. I love this ! It’s great to see real rehearsals and footage of the process of the dances coming together ! This shows the real work of a dance mom and how we clean the dances with our kids!
I wasn’t a fan of them at first but these two have won my heart. Especially whenever Ann said “I believe in the power of prayer” she really is a beautiful soul and raising her daughter to be an amazing young woman. I hope Hannah can break out of her shell and speak up. She is so talented and would be a great employable dancer.💕
