I’ve been using the 3x for over a year. It’s still holding up like new! I also purchased the 2x with a 6’ extension. I use the 3x for smaller low screened in pools and the 2x for all others. The extension helps a lot for a large 60’x45’ fountain and a 39k gallon pool I service. I use them with the Riptide Vac and they hold up well. Very happy with this product.
I have not reviewed that pole myself but it seems like it is heavy much like the Power Pole. For $40 I would go with one of these Carbon Fiber poles for sure. Worth it all the way.
Thanks for doing product spotlights like this. I had no idea other poles like this were out there. The only ones I have been able to find at my local Pinch a Penny are those Porpoise twist lock ones that never work, they should be straight up illegal. Have you tried those?
@@SPL You might have done a video on them before, but if you haven't, you should do like a PSA. Make sure other people dont waste their money. When I had to replace my old one that was one of those all metal quater turn twist lock, I was so mad at the new ones I returned it like 3 times and kept trading them out until I got one that worked. I never got one that worked, I just gave up.

Thanks for the great feedback Manny! I am sure they like to hear that. 👍
Generation X i love it! Makes my day a lot easier. The vacuum has not given me any issues. The customer service is great as well
Manny Amenta would you recommend the 2X over the 3X for most outdoor pools? Looking to buy one soon. Ive been using a two piece pole since I started.
As Always your How To's and product review videos are well appreciated and very helpful! Thank you.
I recently bought brushes and bags...I notice the poles all has different size diameter pipe...Is there a standard size diameter on poles...
They are all pretty similar - they do sell a universal adapter for these poles.
Can you compare the primary pole versus the skimlite carbon pole?
I will eventually. 👍
What's the price on this awesome poles.
Carbon Fiber is expensive. About $200 for the 3X and 2X. The Beta is less. But they last a long time. So you won't be buying a new pole anytime soon.
I’ve been using a 2x for 9months now. Yes the are pricey but they are SO worth it! No complaints at all with mine.
What do you think about ProTuff Ultimate series? Besides its weight, any other disadvantages?

@@SPL Thank you for the fast reply!
Have you tested skimlite carbon fiber pole ?
Mahalo
Will test one out soon.
Curious to know where you got the fine mesh leaf bags can’t really find any
A few companies make the. Try Purity Pool and The smart Company. Both make a good fine mesh net.

Those never work good. Making them illegal is a good idea! 😜👍
