- In this video I have a Amazon torque converter and I show a little riding with it with my opinion on it.
If you’d like, what you see, then you can go watch a few other videos on my channel. More coming out soon!
Amazon torque converter: www.amazon.com...
When I was in 4 th grade I had a mini cycle. The engine blew up. So my dad put a 25 Hp snowmobile engine in it. It had a snowmobile clutch with the mini cycle torque converter. Let me tell you it was fast. 0-80 now. If I had a bigger torque converter it would have easily went over 100. Not kidding. The bigger they are the quicker and faster they go. In a snowmobile the engine would go 60 mph. But the mini cycle didn’t weigh anything. My clutch was 3Xs bigger than the one on yours.
Sweet
I think i just bought the same tc also for the same bike i put a 224 through i haven't even started it yet. Almost done. Im an old man and i would advise you to invest in a small bottle of blue lock tight. Youll love it, stay away from red though till youre 10 or 15 years older. Red wants to brake everything unless you take fire to it.
Did you get it installed yet and how’s it working?
Thanks for this video. Now I see some of the modifications I will have to make. Good job
Dope build
It's not built yet.
Great video and very informative buddy. Keep up the great work and ride safe. 👍
Thanks Man!
I have that same lift plate thing and my sprockets don’t line up. any advice?
Just think, if you would have chose a different engine than those Predator 212's you could have used the headlight parts from the original 196 engine. The 224 would have been a better choice and the headlight parts from the 196 fit.
You are either confused or trying to sell him a 224.
A gx200 clone charging coil fits a predator 212.
@@NubsWithGuns Not confused at all. The coils will bolt on to any small block. But the 196 flywheel to make them work will not fit his engine. The 196 flywheel will fit ANY other small block but not the two Predator 212's. I would never buy any of those two turds when there are so many better engine options. I would get a generic 208 before getting a Predator 212.
Some guys have used a clone flywheel on the non hemi Predator 212, but it's not a correct fit.
I just feel bad for some of the guys wanting to upgrade to a different engine. Like a guy who bought a $100 flywheel for his Predator hemi and can't use it on any other engine. Or a guy with a $100 cam in his non hemi Predator who can't use it in any other engine.
The 224 was just an example. All of my expensive 196 parts, flywheel, cam, and rod fit in a 224, with clearancing for the 58mm stroke crankshaft.
What chain are you using? Can you tell me size and specs about the chain?
The Coleman 200's come with a 420 chain. You can also use a 41 or the big fat 40 chain. A 40 chain on a minibike is overkill. I use 420's on my Colemans.
awesome
did you remove the governor?
the charging coil off of your 196 should fit.
I was going to do mine like that but never got to it.
Is it a stock predator 212 with the stock gas tank? Im about to do this myself and want to be sure the stock gas tank fits
It sure is a stock predator with stock gas tank. You are going to need a riser plate though. You may need to get some extra hardware from the hardware store because the stock riser plates are built well with cheap fasteners. You will want to use lock nuts and longer bolts.
does it still have the governor?
It sure does
@@GrahamsGarage123what was the top speed of yours?
@@adamrichardson135 around 45
@@GrahamsGarage123 thank ya , i rewatched it and heard you say i , i'll be buyin one from amazon
Are you gonna do any internal mods soon?
1:38 I would've used the money to upgrade the clone engine.
Add a juggernaut and do an engine build.
I may take of torque converter and restart build I’m not sure yet
2:05 Torque converters limit the speed to 35 MPH.
gotta love spreading random false knowledge
Yea wtf
Ignorance is bliss right 😂😂😂
