The Dragonslayer heroes (Leaf, Wren, Ivy) versus the terrifying General Sandstorm of the SandWings! This is a big picture I was working on for months in preparation for the release of Dragonslayer and it's a direct parody of the Dragon Prince main splash art. I thought it would be super cool to mimic Dragon Prince but have the Wings of Fire human kids instead.
(I know this moment never happens in the book btw, I just wanted to draw something like this hehe).

SPOILERS
is a really good character. Many people say that she’s not important, but think about the relationship she made with sunny. That book changed some dragon’s point of view, most likely. Leaf was really good, too. His fierce, but also fearful personality really helped me. After Rowan told him that the dragonmancers made Wren get sacrificed, it shook me hard when he thought of his emotions. And finally, Wren. Wren was BY FAR the most WONDERFUL CHARACTERS. She did everything to save her best friend, Sky, and accomplished it. She even killed a dragon for him. Not only did she befriend Sky (a dragon) when he was younger, she ended up learning their language. I was laughing pretty good and cringing pretty good too when Wren walked up to a random NightWing and started telling him to ride her to the palace. He was so confused, and I thought it was hilarious when she stabbed him in the toe.
Over all, Dragonslayer is a AMAZING book! I defiantly recommend it.
Edit : I just noticed; this drawing is (I THINK) based off the Dragon Prince poster.

Freckle The Rainwing-Mudwing Hybrid , isn’t the random nightwing Deathbringer? The he assignment talked about is to kill the prophecy dragonets, (probably), he’s obviously a assassin, and he says he has never been harmed before, which sounds like something Deathbringer would say. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

I have to dissagree. Ivy, in my opinion, is a terrible chararcter. Shes so blind to what her father does and her ship is TERRIBLE. No offense to tui but its worse than ripnami. Its makes NO SENSE and IVY, YOU’VE KNOWN HIM FOR LIKE A WEEK CHILL. Shes also fairly immature and i am wheezing at how convenient her plan was to stop her father. buuut i do love daffidoli and voilet so they kinda save her from being the worse which is leaf. He has NO PERSONALITY whatsoever. If you think otherwise them please tell me what it is bc i cannot find it anywhere. Also hes kinda insane, having conversations with his dead 7-year-old sister. Wren is pretty awesome and i like her. I only continued reading the book bc of wren. The other two povs were kinda boring ngl. Thats the main problem with multiple pov stories: one plot line being more interesting than the others. For some reason Darkstalker didnt have that problem (probably bc the main povs spend most of the book together), and bc of that it did amazing and is a favorite among the fandom. Dragonslayer is by far my least favorite book. It has its moments, but is overall my leats favorite (that doesnt mean that its terrible. Sure, i expected more, but ive read worse. A lot worse.). If the plot was less convenient and had better character arcs, flaws, personalities and not a COMPLETELY POINTLESS SHIP, then it could have maybe done better. Or i might just like dragon povs better. Who knows.

I finished Dragon Prince in like 1 or 2 days, and I fell in love with it. I feel like the way you crossed the two was perfect in many ways. I love Wings of Fire and all, but this is probably one of my favorite pieces you've ever done. I think you are now the person I look up to the most lol.
To be more accurate, you should just draw Wren with a box of rat poison. And good drawing.

I wish this happened in the book that would've been amazing
I feel the need to point out that both the plots of The Dragon Prince and of Wings Of Fire (the original arc) kick off with the death of a dragon monarch, which catapults the world into war, and our main characters are going on a quest to stop said war, annoying multiple royal families in the process.
Also, Rayla is Scottish Glory- sarcastic, closed-off, and can murder you in a blink, but has a sweet side and really cares about her friends.
Anemone has some elements of Claudia- a sweet, bubbly magic-user who is being used and manipulated by her parents and eventually goes down a moral slippery slope.
Glorybringer is similar to Rayllum, if Callum were an assassin instead of Rayla.
