Everyone’s voice is perfect. Winter’s pleading, Hailstorm’s desperation, and Foeslayer/Hope’s apathy and unhappy acceptance about acting the monster history painted her as.
FINALLY a good voice acted map that isnt someone trying to force a british accent or soft voice on a character and the voices actually fit the characters and the mic doesn't sound bad

I love this map SO MUCH. All the participants really made the map and the scene in the book come to life and the voice actors??? My God, they did so well too, like genuinely this is such a good map and such a good concept. This scene in the books was genuinely one of the most heart wrenching and shocking moments in the entire series for me. Hailstorm-after being confined as pyrite, an enemy-has to make the decision to save his brother or get his life back. Getting his life back is all he wanted. Last time he sacrificed himself for winter, he became pyrite and dealt with the worst punishment any dragon, let alone an ice-wing, could handle. Winter’s realization that he has to die if it means his brother can return free. The tension and sorrow in the moment as Winter feels obligated to do this after he ruined his brother’s life. Also the horrible realization that his parents set him up, knowing he’d be the one to die. The sorrow and utter betrayal winter felt was so upsetting. After all he’s done to please his parents and bring hailstorm back, he realizing this was all a game to get rid of winter in the end. Despite this though, winter thinks of a compromise, sacrificing his ability to return home with his family, sacrificing his title, and sacrificing his ability to see his brother again in order for hailstorm to go back. Winter let hailstorm go, wanting his brother to be happy and home after all he’s dealt with, yet he also lets his tribe’s enemy go. He knows his tribe would hate him for it, but it’s beautiful symbolism that not only winter is letting go of his family, tribe, and unhealthy traditions, but he’s also letting go of his hatred and pride, choosing the right thing even if it goes against all he learns. The fact Foe’Slayer and Winter never talk again and the fact winter’s development and symbolism went down the drain made me so mad. It’s infuriating and I hate Tui for creating this wonderful moment and symbolism just to get rid of it all.
This scene was so heart breaking for me to read, I remember almost crying. Having a twin sister I always identify myself with a protagonist who has a sibiling, and all that stuff with Winter and Hailstorm made me so sensible. Hailstorm kind of makes me mad here for what he is considering to do with Winter, and he also pratically said "I regret saving you." But I can't blame him here, not after all he went through- Still my heart ached for Winter more in that moment. Anyways, I like the diamond trail scene, because it closes Winter's character arc with a "diamond" key. A lot of people don't like Winter Turning, but it's one of my favorite books because we actually see character growth, we see how much the protagonist chaged on the course of the book. But Winter in the books later on MADE ME SO MAD TOO. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that!!! His development just got thrown out of the window, bruh. I love Winter but SERIOUSLY?

Wow…this gave me chills. The Diamond Trial is already one of the most haunting scenes in the series in my opinion…the animation and voice acting in this was so well done. My favorite thing was the music, though- the music that was chosen could not have been more fitting for this scene, credits included. It evokes feelings of demise, dread, secrets, confusion, grief, and eeriness, which was felt by both of the brothers during the Diamond Trial. All in all, this was very well done.
I thought this map would be like all the others where there’s music but OH MY MOONS IM GLAD IT’S NOT, I mean, I do love the music ones but this is amazing!
Everyone did an amazing job! All the parts were so smooth and would you look at the gorgeous background. The thumbnail entrees- I am speechless. Don’t get me started on the voice acting. One of the best Wings of Fire MAPS I have seen.

Very very well made :) the voice acting especially exceeded my expectations tremendously. The Animation was also Top notch. Very good job :) Sound design could’ve used a little work but other than that. Absolutely perfect :)
I’m genuinely flabbergasted 😨 this is the best MAP I’ve ever seen, it’s short but SO well made. The effort in this is absolutely amazing and the voices are so fitting it’s almost scary
Wow this is incredible! Both the animators and voice actors did an amazing job encapsulating the tension of this part of the book❤
The emotion within the voices are clearly projected through out the animation, and the body language reflects such as well.

WOOOOW. I am SO HAPPY that this is finished!! The voice acting is PHENOMENAL, and the animation from everybody is STELLAR!! This is one of my favorite scenes in the entire franchise, and to see it come to life is just beautiful.
