  • blowback = no cruising possible due to defect rotary valve tolerance = BLOWBACK problems = sick engine, occurs quite often. here i wanna show you the effects, how the engine behaves and that with renewed rotary valve pad the engine works fine again = healthy.
    the costs:
    rotary valve renewing = 100-150,-
changing to reed valve = 400-500,-
    for all stuff you need.
reed valve is NOT needed for power (as we were told in the 90ies) you achieve up to 25hp with si24 carb box rotary valve if the setup is done well ;)

hello I have a vespa p200e..ho mounted a polini original .... what filter can I mount? to increase performance? .. thanks

none. cause filter doesnt bring any "power" it provides anohter optik beside the original boring one.
stick to the original one, the maximum u do is drilling holes in the heart

Can you clear up something for me please?
On 0:10 of the video you write:
"a vespa crank needs2 fit the engine case:
    =0,05mm rotary valve tolerance"
On 0:31 of the video you write:
    "use a feeler gauge
    0,05 mm is needed"
So from the info above I understand that on a perfect RV pad and a perfect crankshaft you would have the 0,05 feeler gauge to fit exactly?
From 0,05m you can go up to 0,1mm and be normal.
On 2:56 of the video you write:
"0,1mm gets stuck = 0,05mm rotary valve clearance"
What you say on 2:56 gets me confused. Can you explain it please?
Thank you for all your videos. Really appreciate all this effort and the information you are shearing.

      Renewers do it 0,04-0,05
      0,05 shall slip trough
      0,1 has to clamp
      Then rv works perfectly 👍

mista FreakMoPed if I’m doing city driving around 30mph max 2nd gear he’s really hard to go in gear and sometimes you can’t find it it’s like it’s not there .
But if you was the drag race of the lights and drive fast example 40mph you can always find all the gears
But 2nd crunches when you put it in gear but the rest of the gears don’t

Performance of si24, 25, 26, or 28mm is exactly the same. no worries. Best si carb is the si24T5, but fine tuning brings more effevct than just changing the si carb.
      Also a si24 performs as goos as a phbh30mm 😃
