I would love to hear Don’s opinion and insight to c the cave in Cumorah that Brigham Young talks about opening up to Joseph and Oliver where the sword of Laban was hanging on the wall and then unsheathed on the table with inscriptions written on it.
Joseph Smith saw it with Maroni in his library when he was returning the small plates to him, he saw it laying on top of the plates of Gold with wording upon it saying that it would not be sheathed again until the Lord comes The sword has been with Maroni since his father Mormon gave it to him, it was never in the stone box, he was using it and the Liahona to avoid and defend himself from the hordes of Lamanites attempting to find and kill him Just an observation…
Agreed. Don’t understand why they believe it rusted away. We have actual first hand accounts from David Whitmer having an angel show he and the other 2 witnesses the plates and the sword of Laban. And we have Joseph and Oliver also stating in journal of discourses that they saw the sword unsheathed when they brought the plates to Moroni. The sword lasted hundreds of years between Joseph in Egypt and Nephi getting it, and then from Nephi to Moroni. But we think all of a sudden it rusted away in a box (of which there’s no firsthand account of it being there)? Mormon himself stated he put the other records, sword and Liahona in the hill Cumorah, but that’s not the box Joseph got and the hill cumorah that mormon stored all the records in isn’t for sure the location of what we call the hill cumorah today.
I beleieve Nephi was aprenticing to be a blacksmith because he was able to instantly assess the quality of the craftsmanship of the steel of the sword of laban. when it came time to build a boat he asked the Lord for information for the things he did not have a knowledge of ie how to build and design a boat and where to find ore.. he knew how to smelt the ore and make the tools and how to make a bellows he also immediately began making swords after the manner of the sword of laban he did not indicate that the Lord needed to show him how to make a sword after the manner of Laban's sword that was within his aprentice level skillset.... that he was an aprentice is evidenced by his inability to repair the steel bow or make more steel bows but the sword and ship building tools were within his skillset.
There's no mention of the sword of Laban past Mosiah. It's Moroni who's speaking but, it's Mormon 8:14, not Moroni 8:14, that talks about hiding up records unto the Lord. But still, no mention of the sword there, or anywhere in that chapter, or in Mormon, or book of Moroni.
The sword was not in the stone box! Please quit spreading this bs! The sword was in the archive in the Hill with the Liahona and wagon loads of other plates.
I like getting regular mentions on your show recently because I talked about LGBTQ rights, somewhere, sometime in the past. Cardon has no idea, but he's really upset about it!
Shad's video on this is AMAZING! He also made a 3D model of it
A subscriber also made him a replica.
Get Shad on to show you his replica!
YES! Get Shad on! Shad and Don together would be EPIC! 🌟
Get Shad on to talk about this! I’m sure he’d love to do so.
Get Don and Shad in to talk together! It will be an EPIC conversation! 🙌🏻
Shad needs to come on the show
Fly that dude out! Haha.

Wonder what Don thinks of Shad's model of the sword. He showed it off in the Nerdrotic podcast.
Bring Shad on, he has made a replica of the sword!
different environmental conditions specifically humidity would lead to swords of a similar age to weather differently
11:35 I love Don's laugh! 😅

Check out the Jericho sword found in 1982 in Israel dated 600 bc
Did you see the Jericho Sword or the sword that the brothers from The Stick Of Joseph channel were the first members to see?
DibbyB (that’s Don) you GOTTA do an audiobook for the lost 116 pages. Please 🙏🏻
Someone should try to make a replica
Carson I just saw you and Kwaku on Jubilee. It was awesome. I didn’t know you are facing that cancer trial. I’m sorry and will pray for you tonight

If it came from Egypt in the time of Joseph there's a strong possibility that it would've been made of meteoric iron.

What a load of BS. It goes on and on.
Need a tissue? If you think it's all bs then why do you watch? Or if you can debunk then why not share?
Your right, it was a time traveling Delorean Cardon stole. But don't worry, he went back before he stole it and convinced himself not to take it. 😜
