Two physicians visiting the hospital he went to (they were from California) said they could stitch his finger back on. This was around Christmas time 1964. The finger turned black, he got sepsis and died. I don't like wearing rings either
Similar thing happened to my father-in-law. He was getting out of his work van and a piece of metal on the work equipment slid up between his finger and his steel wedding band and nearly ripped his finger off. Silicone rings are definitely the way to go.
In 1986, I became distracted while running a table saw and sawed straight through my hand. They reattach my fingers and all I lost was a joint in my thumb. The surgeon was good enough that I make my living typing on a keyboard for a tech company. I send a thank you prayer to him every time I look at my hand.
Good suggestions! People need to consider all of these things when carrying. A couple things to add to what you brought up are 1) you mentioned shooting carry ammo to “become comfortable with it” but we must always “shoot” any new carry ammo to be sure it will cycle through the pistol. This is very common for a good type of ammo to, not work, in a good firearm. Gun and ammo need to be matched up. Min 1-2 mags for this test 2) have dedicated “carry mags” that dont get beat to hell on the range AND, Test these mags as well before carrying. It takes approximately 3 full mags being shot through the gun to “seat” the spring. 3) I also carry a MR920. Have been for several years. You are 100% spot on about the quality and value they bring, even over a Glock. For the 920 as well as most of Shadow Systems guns, the “Factory Mag” is a PMAG, this is the mag in which the gun was designed and tested with, and should be treated as the OEM magazine. Also if you run the magwell on a 920, a Glock mag will be extremely hard to get a hold of in case of a malfunction (type 3 especially, when the mag becomes stuck in the frame of the pistol). These are just my 2 cents. I have a lot of knowledge in this area and i want to be sure everyone is carrying and doing so in the most safe and effective way possible. Great video, spread awareness of these topics so nobody gets caught having the worst day of their life and then have it get even worse because of issues with their carry set up. There is obviously much much more to this but i just wanted to comment on the areas you are touching on in this video. Keep up the good work. God Bless!

To be fair…. OEM for shadow systems is Pmags… But I get what you meant. I haven’t had any issues with my pmags in my MR920…. I kinda makes me laugh when people won’t carry a pmag but carry aftermarket mag extensions.

Phones overheat if you try to use the flashlight for longer than a minute or two. I found a keychain flashlight that charges by usb c. It has a bunch of functions and puts out more light than you would believe, has a lantern in white and red and also a red or red blue flashing function plus they're cheap. My keychain has that light, a Swiss Army knife, fishing tackle, sewing needles, chordage, fishing line, fire starting and a P38 can opener. The rings are titanium and the belt ring hook I use has other functions with chordage. My wallet is the Grim Workshop survival wallet which includes a knife, saw, fishing hooks, lures, saw, lock picks, arrow heads and fishing gigs plus it's held together by ranger bands. Inside the wallet I keep a fresnel lens. I usually carry an LCP Max with an extra mag loaded with Speer cary ammunition. I always have a good pocket knife and a Parker Jotter pen. My boots are laced with homemade 550 chord laces, my every day hat is wool. This is what I carry every day, all the time except when I'm at home lounging around or sleeping. In addition I always overdress for the outdoors and my winter jacket is a whole other layer of survival kit which includes things like additional wool layers cover for shelter, first aid, food, compass, tape, water containers and purification supplies. Plus it's Gortex. I have enough learned skills to weather a cold stormy night with not much more than a knife so all the extra stuff is really just to make me more comfortable. What I haven't been able to do is give the system a fair test because planning it alone makes the test results problematic. You'll always do better if you plan it but true survival is typically not planned with the exception of intentionally remaining prepared and skilled.
@TacticalToolbox Check out the Olight Arkfeld UV, nice small rectangular design. I just picked one up last month and I’m loving it! Goes from 1-1,000 lumens, and has all the same great Olight features 👍🏼

This channel gave me guidance during the pandemic, from firearm choices to shooting tips and of course concealed carry. One of the absolute best at striker gun knowledge tips and tricks and sharing knowledge. I always watch as soon as they pop up. Thanks Fam we appreciate your hard work out here. I edc a shadow systems MR920 with a ramjet and SRO with a tlr7a in a tier 1 rig Have several Glocks as well but man I love me some shadow systems
Appreciate the honesty about the oversights with your mag and holster. I would recommend anything that has screws to put alignment marks on them Like many do with their RMR's to see if zero screws are moving, I suggest the same for holsters with clips and other accessories mounted on weapons. etc.
I love my EDC-S belt! It retired my Kore belt to the closet and had me return my Nexbelt. When the EDC-S belt first came out, it sold out immediately. I kept checking day after day, but still sold out. After a little while I decided to order the Nexbelt supreme appendix belt (the same one you have), but as soon as it arrived I got an email from Tier 1 that the EDC-S belt was back in stock. I ordered the EDC-S belt immediately and started wearing it once it arrived. After falling in love with it and wearing it every day since it arrived, I decided to return the Nexbelt because I never opened it. The Nexbelt seems like a really good belt, but I won’t be wearing anything but the EDC-S now. The comfort is worth every penny of the $115
My warrior poet knife doesn’t open nearly as easily as yours… but it did almost slice off my knuckle. I put my hand in my pocket to take out my wallet. The knife opened up a little after accidentally engaging the wave, took my hand out, put my hand back in and bam! On the plus side is sharp as hell lol.
Great video as always... I also have been running the Tier 1 belt for a number of months now and love it. I have had a few back surgeries and it is very important to me to have a comfortable carry belt with my Tier 1 Axis Elite and Glock 17. I can't say enough great things about that belt! Thanks as always!
I have been carrying the Olight 1R 2 EOS on my truck keychain for over a year now. I think it has been replaced with the 1R 2 PRO. I absolutely hate bulky keys in my pocket, and I don't even notice it is in my pocket since it is roughly the size of a key. It has two levels of brightness as you twist and when twisted out it opens to a USB C port for charging.
I've also made the not-thread-locking mistake, but I'll add another note on the subject: Pay attention to the ordering of how you'll have to reassemble the holster. If you thread lock the side screws before doing the inside screws that you can't reach without disassembling everything, it's a PIA to take everything apart again. If you mash up the hardware in the process, the T1 screw sets aren't cheap to replace.
Thats crazy . My dad had those plugs in all of our cars 20 years ago. They work so well. I used to mess with all my friends with those. Daring them to try and start my truck.
Highly suggest trying a "Groove" belt. I've been carrying for 20+ years with a variety of belts. I've carried for many years with either a re-inforced, 5stitch Wilderness tactical instructor belt (on one end of the spectrum) and often a Patagonia Tech Web belt (other end of the spectrum). I've rarely felt a huge "need" for a super stiff belt when carrying a midsize and smaller gun. The Groove belt is the best of both world. It stretches and moves with you, yet it doesn't "fold over" like many non gun specific belts. The buckle isn't as small as the NexBelt AIWB buckle, but also not as big as others. I'd highly recommend trying one out.
I think the most important parts to a simple “EDC LOAD OUT” would be: -Dependable handgun you have time on the range with and know how to operate safely and effectively -Good gun belt to keep your handgun and holster secure -Analog watch/smart watch to use independently from your phone if you choose -Your cellular device of choice -Good pen or a couple cheap pens that write good -Wallet/money clip for the monies -Keys for house and vehicle I just wish I was a designer that started to use “Tacticool EDC accessories” to be well off by this time haha use what works and remember the K.I.S.S. method.
I have a Kodiak . It has for brightness modes , a hat clip , and a strong magnet . Plus it didn't hit the wallet too hard . I run a continuous press . Needless to say it got banged banged up a lot . It uses a rechargeable cr123 battery . And it's a magnetic charging cord .
You can turn off transmitting on most fobs. On Toyota fobs you can hold lock and hit unlock twice to turn off. To turn back on hit any button. Need need for a special bag.

I haven't tried the T1C belt but you should give the Agonic EDB belt a look when you get the chance. Similar design to T1C in some ways but with some really cool features. Supremely effective and comfortable.
The T1C belt is nice, but it is way too stiff. I run the belt to the left of the center, but the buckle is so big it digs into my hip. I only used it for a week.
I love the silicone rings working with my hands and line handling is dangerous with regular rings. Also a plus side that I’m surprised you didn’t mention is your grip on the firearm when you draw or are shooting. Idk about you but I hated shooting with hard rings on I feel like it affects my grip. But I don’t have that problem anymore due to those awesome rings. Great video keep up the good work. And stay safe.
Another plus to the t1 or hunter constantine belt is you can wear it without belt loops under shorts or sweats. Great alternative to the enigma if you want something simpler to use without all the setup and holster commitments of the enigma.
Everyone talks crap about Olight, but all of mine have been bulletproof. I've beat the hell out of them and they keep on kicking. Also, check out the 2 Arkfeld variants for what you described.
I make a point to use my loaded carry magazines for practice once every 6 months... this means shooting all of the ammo from both the primary and the spare. I do this to 1) make sure it all still works, mags, ammo, ect... 2) to make sure I reload with fresh stock once every 6 months. I also make a point to load my primary with well tested defensive ammo that I trust, but I load my secondary with a different brand that is just hard ball FMJ. Why I do that is in case I ever had a problem in a defensive situation with the primary, I do not want to have to put the same ammo I have an issue with in as my secondary. Besides if things come to having to go to a second magazine, I figure I am happy to have anything that effectively makes holes in bad guys regardless of if it is HP or FMJ.
Qalo ring, some sort of tool watch - good call on the Seiko diver, I love my Sumo hulk. Shield Plus PC with dot in a Black Arch Entrada, BM Bugout, Black Arch EDC belt or Leisure carry setup for gym shorts, keys, phone. Much has changed over time for me too.
when I switched from my m&p 2.0 with a spare mag with an extension to my mr920, I started carrying the 24 round OEM glock magazines, this leaves less room for error, like he had with his extension, and it's just slimmer
As a EDC/Knife reviewer we gotta talk about your pocket knives. The Civivi? Great budget pick. I would also encourage you to look at Bestech, Tuya, Begg Knives, and Spartan Blades. All can be had for under $200.
Honestly, I have a headlamp in my car. I use it for fishing, but will work fine for flat tire. Usually leave it on low. I also have a 1000 luman or 1200 to look for carp. They're green if you have a strong enough light.
I can admit I like the olights especially the perun with the 90 degree angle. I have them in all vehicles and my EDC bag. They come with head straps as well. Of course only surefire and streamlight on the guns.
Nothing to do with sweat, it's the junk shield arms extensions and springs. Had a brand new one do it. The follower hit the lip and got stuck, all rounds fell out when the mag was tipped upside down. I removed $300 worth of shield arms mags from my carry guns after that, won't ever trust the again.
Do a beater edc video! As a remodeling contractor, my edc takes some massive abuse. I purposely carry a basic g48 $450, a cheap front pocket wallet but carry it in back $12, an olight $40, and a la police gear s30v knife $50 cuz work. Drywall, concrete, sweat…they all cause massive abuse to gear. It would be nice to hear from a guy that geeks out on gear for some carry suggestions for hard use.
You should consider a Garmin tactical, they are a good price for a gps that will always work. If your ever lost the woods or whatever you can just put in a grid of a location you know and it will point to it till you arrive. They have legit saved my life in the army.
the first gen Terminus XR with Cryo D2 steel has cheaper springs in the tensioning bar, meaning after some playing around with it both springs fail and there are NO replacements directly from SOG since they got acquired by a different company which discountinued all SOG products. the springs may still be easily acquired through a bigger knife store, but it is a thing to watch out for. Also, Cryo D2 is one of my absolute fav budget steels, it takes an insane sharpness after very basic sharpening, unlike regular D2. solid 50 bucks knife
Just a tip about gasoline. Typically all of the different brands of fuel fill their tanker trucks at the same fuel dock. Then they poor in the additive package for their brand.
I am a knife nerd - some of your knives are good but you really need to try a Spyderco Para 3 or Para 3 lightweight if you like lighter knives. Go with the Para 3 lightweight in S90V if you don't want to worry about sharpening it very often. The Hogue Deka in Magnacut or 20CV steel is also a great knife for the money. If you want a self defense style knife check out the Hogue / SIG K320. Cheers!
Great advice as always. Thanks brotha! The new T1C EDCS belt is pretty solid. Pricey but solves a lot of issues when carrying appendix in shorts for me. Love the flex.
You sure know how to get some interaction on your videos!! Olight Arkfeld is squared and has everything else you asked for except that it is still from Olight. Plus it has a UV light. Currently the ones with a laser light combo do not have the reversible deep carry clip so I'd stay away from that.
That Revelco fob? Had one that looked like that in 72. Bulky, clumsy, and doesn't stop tow trucks. Which can now hookup and tow even a parallel parked car in under 30 seconds, without the driver leaving the truck.
If you like karambits check out the CRKT Provoke. A little bigger but opens ussing a hinged system and can be used as a brass knuckle hand fill. Love mine.
Check out Nicron flashlights. I have the N7 and it's magnetic, stiff clip, high lumens, and swivel head. Absolutely incredible little light, looks slimmer than the ones in this video as well
A good knife that’s super cheap I’ve found myself carrying a lot is the crkt ceo flipper. The lock is solid on it and it is very discreet alarmist looks like a pen in the pocket
The only time I recommend spending money on an EDC watch is when in in a foreign country. That’s because you can use it as currency to barter with if you need cash to get home or something. Other than that, a tough watch has been fine for me beating them up in the military and outside of it training. If I’m spending more than $90 it had better have GPS on it.
You can get a three pack for $2.99. Knock off silicone rings at Walmart in sporting goods. Been wearing one as a tool maker for seven years. It is not durable in petroleum environment.
Thrunite has some. I have one that came with everything to mount it as a headlamp. But it is magnetic and has a right angle. Not very expensive and more useful than you would thing with the right angle. I also have a normal one. After those mine get a bit more expensive.
You can get the bigger praxis the one you have is a mini praxis they are both pretty good cheap knives but saying that you need to try the cjrb pyrite buttonlock you will love it
25:00 Light that has a hat clip and magnetic base... NEBO. They sent me one as a promo to try and then sell in my store (sadly, I can't make that decision, corporate hoops and all that) Loved it, magnet was very strong. Bigger then your Olights... and I lost it.... I'm still sad. It was the Redline Flex. Great light. Larger then your Olight (as I said) but great light. and looking at their website on 30$ I might have to buy a few. Maybe I should talk to the higher ups and suggest they start to carry Nebo lights.
You are always very thorough and all about the details. You have a lot of sweet gear & guns. Thank you for your hard effort! Hey, who sells uppers for the shield plus? I bought standard w/o optic ready and kinda regret. I want to upgrade and not go buy another shield plus with it. New slide like Ed brown which I have on 2.0. Any help would be great. Thanks again.

Hey Tactical Toolbox, since you like watches so much maybe you'll look into the Garmin series of watches. They have some styles that you might like that brings a technical aspect to wearable. I love the Fenix 7 Sapphire solar I got.
No smart watch. Thats different in this day/age. If i may recommend one. The amazefit T-Rex. I don't use mine for the phone text, call, blah blah blah. Not my style. To be fair…. OEM for shadow systems is Pmags… But I get what you meant. I haven’t had any issues with my pmags in my MR920…. I kinda makes me laugh when people won’t carry a pmag but carry aftermarket mag extensions.
As a South African, even though a lot of this stuff isn't available here, one can always try and look for similar/alternative items, but either way awesome video, lot of cool stuff and tips for EDC. Great video!
Iv been searching for the fn509
Olight makes a flat light and Nitecore. Olight is the Arkfeld and Nitecore is the EDC27.
I'm a big fan of thrunite lights, I bought them for my techs. Rechargeable, standard and some of the magnetic ones. They have held up well
I have a ts1 that the bezel around the bulb ( idk if it's even called bezel on a light) came off. Exposing the o ring around the glass.
I have a thrunite that I bought around 15 years ago-still works..all my olights failed…nitecore has held up pretty well too.
@TacticalToolbox
Check out the Olight Arkfeld UV, nice small rectangular design. I just picked one up last month and I’m loving it!
Goes from 1-1,000 lumens, and has all the same great Olight features 👍🏼
Flat flashlights:
Rovyvon E1 and E3
Nitecore EDC27, Tini and Tip SE
O light Arkfeld
Knives:
Cold Steel: anything with Tri-Ad locking system. I like the AD10 (S35VN), AD10 lite (Tanto, AUS10), Code 4 (aluminum scales, tanto, S35VN), Recon 1(tanto, S35VN)
Civivi: Conspirator (nitro steel)
Kizer: Bugai (154CM), v4481c3, Ki4481A1
Knives: Tekto F3 (USA made, D2)
This channel gave me guidance during the pandemic, from firearm choices to shooting tips and of course concealed carry. One of the absolute best at striker gun knowledge tips and tricks and sharing knowledge. I always watch as soon as they pop up.
Thanks Fam we appreciate your hard work out here.

Have several Glocks as well but man I love me some shadow systems

@@gerk7238 😂 I bet he’s not as proud as your wife’s boyfriend is when you load the dishwasher…
@@mr920xsnob2 why are you attacking me? You know he’s married to man, right? I assumed you were too..am I getting all of this wrong
When the
EDC-S belt first came out, it sold out immediately.
Groove life makes an amazing belt for edc. Been running it for 3 years and i have not had one issue with it. Super comfortable and i highly recommend.
Switched to a groove belt earlier in the year, never going back👌
Ill have to check that out. Sick of leather streaching out.
CIVICI knifes are fantastic... I own 2 and will continue to buy them!!!!
For that last knife, the Curshaw, Geeber makes a very similar one that has a flipper, its the Gerber Savvy and Assert. Love them.
For flashlights the main brand that I know works great is the NEBO slim or NEBO slim+ which has a laser and functions as a emergency charging pack.
I think the most important parts to a simple “EDC LOAD OUT” would be:
-Dependable handgun you have time on the range with and know how to operate safely and effectively
-Good gun belt to keep your handgun and holster secure
-Analog watch/smart watch to use independently from your phone if you choose
-Your cellular device of choice
-Good pen or a couple cheap pens that write good
-Wallet/money clip for the monies
-Keys for house and vehicle
I just wish I was a designer that started to use “Tacticool EDC accessories” to be well off by this time haha use what works and remember the K.I.S.S. method.
Have you tried the enigma express holsters? I've added a small belt clip to the front of it to keep it at my belt line, that made it perfect for me.
I have a Kodiak . It has for brightness modes , a hat clip , and a strong magnet . Plus it didn't hit the wallet too hard . I run a continuous press . Needless to say it got banged banged up a lot . It uses a rechargeable cr123 battery . And it's a magnetic charging cord .
it's great to know which items have proven their worth and which ones might need some improvement. Keep up the great work
Cheers for the updates. Trade-offs everywhere but at time we do get a grail.
Powertac E10-G4 1,200 LUMEN MAGNETIC TAIL CAP EDC FLASHLIGHT is one of my favorite pocket lights.
You can turn off transmitting on most fobs. On Toyota fobs you can hold lock and hit unlock twice to turn off. To turn back on hit any button. Need need for a special bag.
Maybe on "some new fobs" but definitely still rare to be able to turn a fob off.
Nice video as always, real glad I found your channel. Can you please do a review on the 50 beowulf from Alexander Arms,Matt from Demolition ranch did one but it wasn't really a review more like hey look at this coo gun type vid.
(SA-vee-vee) is how you pronounce it.. Also on the watch if you want to keep the same strap you can put a couple drops of super glue to prevent the holders from sliding!! Love the videos though, sick EDC! Keep up the good work man!
Lol as someone living in California watching the bit about the gas app is painful. I pay over 5 a gallon 😭
My edc flashlight is the olight arkfeld uv. Oval shape so it’s thin in the pocket, magnetic base, and has the hat clip. Battery life is great too.
Thanks for the video. Very educational. A special thanks for the Home Depot date night idea......
I was thinking the same thing. Gripping a pistol with a hard ring is painful.
Yeah as an electrician and into the guns I don't wear metal rings. Silicones only way I go.
Fenix PD35 v3 is what I carry every day. 1700 lumen turbo mode with 5 levels and strobe $ 79.95
Look at the olight arkfield for a flat light. It is my current edc. Mag charge. Double clip and also has a UV light which is switch selectable.
For the flashlight, you just described the olight arkfeld lol. It has everything you listed and it’s flat. It has also a laser or a uv light
Hey I dunno if anybody comment on it yet. But I use silicone spray on the inside of the mag for lubrication and metal protection.
I hope you hit a million soon! Best tutorials! Thank you!!
ThruNite T1S is what I Carry for a flashlight. It's not square but it's the best flashlight I've ever owned
As a EDC/Knife reviewer we gotta talk about your pocket knives. The Civivi? Great budget pick. I would also encourage you to look at Bestech, Tuya, Begg Knives, and Spartan Blades. All can be had for under $200.
Wow, a rusted mag from sweat. Thanks for that, im checking mine. And adding loctite too. I know i forgot that too. Thank you Sir.
27:17 for the "1st Deadly mistake"
Thanks for the warning.
very well thought out ideas. us dudes don't have the accessories options that chix do. a nice time piece and shades! You hit the nail on both.
@TacticalTooIbox 😂😂😂😂
I prevent Mag-hang by always using my EDC on range days, including the spare mag. That way I get live fire drill practice in as well with my lifeline.
Thanks for telling us about this and for all you do like the channel
Tyrant mag extension does the same exact thing. But I check mine cuz I use my spares when I go shooting. Every weekend.
I did the get upside you get money back but usually the Gass stations were 4 to 5 cents a gallon more than my usual gas station.
The g shock is what I wear everyday excellent watch.
I'm carrying CZ P 07 👍👍
You sure know how to get some interaction on your videos!! Olight Arkfeld is squared and has everything else you asked for except that it is still from Olight. Plus it has a UV light. Currently the ones with a laser light combo do not have the reversible deep carry clip so I'd stay away from that.
That Revelco fob? Had one that looked like that in 72. Bulky, clumsy, and doesn't stop tow trucks. Which can now hookup and tow even a parallel parked car in under 30 seconds, without the driver leaving the truck.
That's true, nothing can really stop a tow truck. That's why it's important to have multiple redundancies and ways to track the vehicle.
That kershaw iridium uses an axis lock. Benchmade makes quite a few knives that utilize the axis lock, and one of the more popular ones is the bug out
If you like karambits check out the CRKT Provoke. A little bigger but opens ussing a hinged system and can be used as a brass knuckle hand fill. Love mine.
Check out Nicron flashlights. I have the N7 and it's magnetic, stiff clip, high lumens, and swivel head. Absolutely incredible little light, looks slimmer than the ones in this video as well
Olight has a flat light with magnet called the Arkfeld. Seems like a good light. Haven't bought one because I have a bunch of other lights I use.
A good knife that’s super cheap I’ve found myself carrying a lot is the crkt ceo flipper. The lock is solid on it and it is very discreet alarmist looks like a pen in the pocket
Olight makes the Arkfeld. It has everything on your flashlight wishlist plus a laser or UV light
After those mine get a bit more expensive.
check out the Fenix e35r, relatively small flashlight with a 21700 5000mah battery. everything you need with 3000 lumens.
You can get the bigger praxis the one you have is a mini praxis they are both pretty good cheap knives but saying that you need to try the cjrb pyrite buttonlock you will love it
Would you do a direct comparison video on a tier 1 holster and havok holster sir?
Always oil your magazines and keep them clean inside and out, I wipe mine down every couple weeks and clean the inside about every 5-6 months
Have you looked at Olight Arkfeld? I've been daily-ing one since October last year.
GREAT video, thanks, and I LOVE my War Poet MR920. My EDC and favorite shooter.
I get so stoked when I see a new video released from TT! Take care.
Even though the dogging of OLIGHT I do carry an Arkfeld everyday. I have the laser and the UV secondary option and I grab the natural white/UV all the time
Olight Arkfeld UV FTW! Best Carry light
I recommend the nitecore tip2 flashlight. It's small and light weight on a hat. also has a magnetic base.
Im with ya on the dive watch thing. My favorite style. New to the channel. Good video
I do however use my watches for their functionality. Baro, compass, altimeter, etc. I will also use G-Shock, Crosstrek watches. If you get the itch, try that amazefit T-Rex 2 . Battery life and durability. You may like it. Your civivi praxi😅s is a great knife. Budget banger.
An old South Texas rancher man's EDC: cheap Timex Indiglo. Wedding ring? Work hazard. No ring. No sun glasses. The palm leaf wide brim cowboy hat does its job vs the sun. Holster is leather, external of the pants, and rides on a 1.5" bull hide belt. Gun is a G19. Keys are truck key, house key, 6 different gate keys, one key for fast access guns in the house, P-38 can opener, one key to my elevated gravity fed fuel tank on the place here . Phone stays in the truck. Livestock will break your cell phone. (learned that the hard way). Leather wallet. Bandanna for sweat removal. Knife, 5" fixed blade for work carried in a leather sheath horizontally at the 11 o'clock position. Handheld radio, for comms to the wife, neighbors.
Truck EDC: AR-15. Vest with mags, IFAK, zip ties, radio pouch, flashlight. Aid bag. IV bag and gear. (had to use it on a neighbor who was a heat casualty once. Five gallon water Igloo cooler. All required fence repair hardware and tools. Spare tire, aftermarket BIG jack, aftermarket lug wrench.
It is a war zone down here. Illegals, cartel coyotes, you name it. After detaining 12 trying to hotwire my truck one night? Zip ties became part of the kit. It is a dangerous place here. They ate my neighbors pet goat she kept in the house yard inner fence! They had gone to church. Oh, and the mayors of NYC and Chicago should shut up about their illegals.
